I My 2026 office setup

Instantly better! I got a really good Best Buy open box deal on the Odyssey Ark. But I never did split screen, you can’t have more than one input source on the multi-view setup, so I basically I had a 55” work monitor. I knew I was going to upgrade one day. I had a Samsung 49” ultra-wide before, lov

50xx Super delay? What should I do now?

I got myself a nice Samsung Odyssey Ark, 55 inches of 16:9, 4K gloriousness, in January. That and my combat flight simming in VR were the reasons for the upgrade!

VR dcs

I built a liquid cooled 9800x3d with a Gigabyte x870 Aorus Wifi Elite MB, 64gb 6000mt/s RAM at cl30, and a 5090. I had been holding out for the 5080 Super to release but once I saw a 5090 at MSRP +10% I decided that if I was willing to pay the price of a 5080 Super 6+ months from now I was willing t

What do you guys rate my laptop set up?

Yes you should upgrade your monitor to the Samsung odyssey Ark 4k 55 inch curve screen, then you should add a Lenovo legion go s 32gig of ram and 1 tb of storage which can be upgraded to a 2 or 4 tb SSD. The ps5 is ok but the ps5 pro will complement everything nicely, and with the legion go s you ca

Monitor or tv for 5 foot viewing distance

In no world would I write code on a TV, the DPI is horrible, and they're flat, and I only write code on curved monitors, but that's my 2cents. None of the above. I recommend a 3440x1440 ultrawide at least, and they're as cheap as $250. I.e. Koorui has one and they're good panels and great monitors.

Finally got a TV upgrade

I just purchased a 55 Samsung Ark Gen2 for my rig sitting 2” behind my G-Pro base and also have VR2. Previously had rig 5’ from a Samsung 85”. Having it basically at windshield distance is much more immersive. Not like VR2 but for Pit strategy races I like having race info

Any real-world examples of curved triple screens looking bad?

I’ve had experience with quite literally every type of monitor set up. Single 27, 32, 34, 49, 59, 40 to triple 27, 32, 40, 45, 55, 65, 75, and even 90’s which I would never recommend. I currently have 3 sims in my garage, a triple 32, 45, and 55. Breakdown: 32 - Very good for low budget but wanting

Struggling with one monitor.

A single monitor works great as long as it's big enough. I was using VR for a few years mainly because I didn't have space for a triple monitor setup. I now have a lot more room and I built a new rig with a 55" curved screen (Samsung Odyssey Ark) and I haven't used VR since. I can see everything I n

Affordable monitor for Mac mini with no scaling issues?

I have a samsung odyssey ark. 55" and i like it because it gives me multiple viewing options . Either full screen at 4k 165hz.. or i can do two 1080p displays side by side on the same screen, or i can rotate it vertical in cockpit mode.. dig the versatility and it has native gaming built in using st
