I didn't add a heatsink, the thermal tape was working fi

SSD Price Deal
that's a steal for 8tb, sabrent's actually one of the better brands for nvme drives, their rocket 4 plus is pcie 4.0 and uses decent flash the price is low cause 8tb ssds have been dropping lately not cause it's bad, i'd grab it before someone else does

SSD Price Deal
Sabrent is a respectable brand, and the Rocket 4 Plus is a high-end drive with DRAM cache. At the moment, a new 8 TB drive would be about $1300. A discount of 50% is reasonable for a used drive. Nobody knows whether the seller can be trusted.

Onexfly over Legion go 2
I got the F1 Pro 64GB + 4TB and I love it, I then upgraded it to a 8TB sabrent rocket 4 plus and it still works fine even tho the company said it can only take up to 4TB, so far it works fine even tho it’s a slight dip in read and write speed bc the OEM 4TB SSD is a bit faster but overall I got no c

Ryzen 9 9950X3D temps using NZXT Kraken Elite
Setup looks amazing. My only concern is the mp600. I had 2 units long time ago , not the same but it was same model for shure, after a while the writes speed where below 1000MBytes/s. I returned 2 units and got sabrent rocket 4 plus and lexar 790 all perfect read and writes around 7000Mbytes/s. Rest

Console suddenly wont detect my ssd after a system error
Final update. The sabrent rocket 4 plus apparently died after a syystem error which is insance. The new ssd reads just fine. Ps5 just needed MORE money lol. What with the scalper price i paid at launch plus two 2tb ssd's, the portal, and psvr2 im into this thing way more than id like to admit. But..

What’s the best internal SSD upgrade for a PS5 for 2025?
If you’re considering options, don’t just look at read/write numbers. Heat management matters a lot inside the PS5. Some drives come with their own heatsink, but I’ve seen folks buy a bare drive and then cheap out on a random heatsink that doesn’t fit properly. That leads to throttling and sometimes

I need help with building and actually getting my first ever PC.
Trust yourself, have a bit of confidence and do it yourself. You can do it. Now to the build. "AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 4.3 GHz 16-Core Processor The 9950x3d has 2 ccds (dies). 8 cores per die. The extra v cache is only connected to one of them. Therefore it won't perform better than something like the 9

What’s the best SSD you recommend for upgrading the PS5’s internal storage?
I’m kind of surprised no one mentioned Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus. I installed it with the PS5 heatsink mod and it’s been buttery smooth. Load times in Ratchet & Clank were a noticeable improvement, and it barely warms up.
