Upgrade from Profitec Go - best small dual boiler? [No budget]
I recently upgraded to the Rocket R58 TUNE and would happily recommend it to anyone looking to switch to a dual boiler. It's a beautifully designed machine with some thoughtful features.

Rocket R58 Tune
Personal caveat, I'm a Cinquantotto (v3) owner, so take my esthetic opinions as a fan of the v3, with that... (question A) general thoughts? and (question B) non-Rocket loyalists interest? I have "A" covered below with my observation that the Tune is a mixed bag of incredible with some criticisms. Q

Are the high end DB machines really worth it?
While this is basically true, the maraX is not a classic HX machine. It has a quite clever brew-priority PID that has a second temp-sensor in the brewing circle and thus offers good temperature control and lacks the need for cooling-flushes.Is a DB Machine like a RocketR58 better than the mara? New Rocket Appartemento [$2,200] or used Rancilio Silvia w/PID [~$650]
I was considering the Profitec Go or Lelit Victoria PL91T (you can see it in my post history; I don’t even know anymore if they are only single boiler?), but my girlfriend convinced me to spend more (bless her) to get a HX and steam simultaneously. We drink mostly milk drinks, though, occasionally e

Used Rocket R58 V2, or Flair 58 Plus 2? [No budget]
That sounds like the exact same verbiage I used in the ad for my rocket 58 on Facebook Marketplace. I also have it listed here on Reddit on the coffee swap subreddit. I'm not sure who told you I would sell it for $1,500 but the current price is $1850 local or $2,000 shipped. That said, you're lookin

Looking for a dual boiler espresso machine in Canada [<$6,000]
Get the Rocket R58 Cinquantotto. It’s a double boiler and will be a workhorse for you if you need that DB life. It’s just under 5k at Cafe Liegeois they ship within Canada and often have the best prices. I bought my current set up from them and I’m in the GTA.

Time to retire [$3000] max
I was in your current situation. I had a BBE with a Niche Zero and saw an opportunity to upgrade to a refurbished Rocket R58 Cinquantotto and upgraded. The thing is built like a tank. Has the classic E61 group head + a modern touch screen to the side where you can control temperature of the boilers

Quickmill Vetrano 2B
I’ve had my Vetrano 2B Evo for about a month. I have nothing but praise for the machine as well as Chris Coffee. I originally intended to buy the Rocket R58 but extensive research led me to the Vetrano 2B. Same features, smaller footprint, all stainless frame and $600 less to buy. I compared the Vet

Upgrade from 49-54mm machine to 58mm: regrets?
Yeah this is where I’m at. I have also had a barista pro for 4 years now and like it but I want something I’ll love. I was looking at the Profitec Pro500 but now I’m settling on the idea of a Rocket Cinquantotto because I want a double boiler.

Which machine should I get? [$3000-4500]
I purchased a Bianca v3 on sale for $2,300. In my opinion, it is a great deal. I understand with Tariffs it is more now but if you wait for a sale you will get one he’ll of a good machine for the money. I would look at the Decent or a double boiler Rocket like the Cinquantotto
