Upgraded from Profitec Pro 600 to Linea Micra - I love it
every time a LM shows up on this sub there are so many haters, but all our machines are overkill to a normal person who would be perfectly happy with a lavazza classy mini for $180. love my micra and philos, and op i am sure you’re gonna love yours too! hell, i loved my e61 rocket appartamento so mu

Leaning toward a Linea Micra, but tell me what I'm missing [$3500]
I’ve had an E61 machine for 10 years (Rocket Appartamento) and loved it, connected to a smart plug for HA to turn on with my phone dashboard 40 mins before I want to pull a shot. Now have a Micra and with some custom template sensors and the lamarzocco integration I can do much more (like know when

Profitech Go vs Pro400 [$1200-$1600]
I had the exact same dilemma 3 months ago (single boiler or hx) and went for the heat exchanger (Rocket Appartamento in my case though) and couldn’t be more glad I did.

Upgrade from Bambino plus [budget up to £1200]
I’m looking at the Lelit Mara X in that price bracket. The Rocket Appartamento also looking good.

Which grinder + machine for a home setup? [~€1500]
Sharing an observation as a long-time Rocket Appartamento owner who upgraded. First of all, I wouldn’t say that flow control is necessary (and the massive amount of people regarding the Linea Mini as end-game seem to agree). In fact, if one is only starting their journey into espresso I would say th

Bought a Rancilio Silvia Pro X and a Rocket Appartamento TCA for ~€500 each… now I have no idea which one to keep
The Pro X is superior for making coffee. Dual boiler, PID and faster heat up (Appartamento needs more than 30 minutes 😬). TCA also has some sort of PID but a heat exchanger can not accurately set the brew temperature. But you say that the Appartamento appeals to you much more and that’s one of the m

Upgrade Options for espresso machine [budget of £1,500]
I haven’t used this model but I’ve used Rocket 2 and 3 group professional machines. They are sturdy, built to last and to handle high workloads. The Appartamento has the Faema E61 group head which is all you need for your shot’s quality and consistency!

Downgrading to Bambino Plus [£200]
I recently downgraded from an Appartamento to a Profitec Go. Even for 1-2 drinks a day, I feel the struggle and miss my Rocket. I couldn't imagine going from the Rocket to Bambino, to be honest. It would make me upgrade pretty quickly.
