Roborock Q7 L5 is a budget model, so the performance is what it is. The main brush housing is also fixed or not floating. The only thing you can do is set the cleaning pattern to Deep, 2 cycle pass, and activate the automatic suction boost on carpet.

I love my robot vacuum. 500% recommend within certain limits. I have 4 cats (one long-haired). I originally wanted it for upstairs, where I have a wall-to-wall carpet, but it's not great at that. We have the roborock Q7 L5+. We haven't tried it with litter bc our litter boxes are in the basement and upper floor but it works pretty well for everything else

Agree! You can get a good deal if you wait for a July Amazon Day or Black Friday, when the latest Roborocks come out and they drop the prices on the previous ones. Or look on the Amazon resale section. The Qrevo Pro has two mopheads that spin around, which is a vast improvement in cleaning wood floo
