Which robot vacuums actually work?
I did a ton of research on this a few months ago before I bought the roborock Q10 S5+. The way I see it, robot vacuums go in tiers: Cheap thing that goes around randomly vacuuming with no plan Less cheap thing with some intelligence/planning Moderate price that has intelligence and extra features li

which roborock model usually gets the best black friday 2025 discount
First, I’m a happy Roborock customer and have had the QRevo (original) for 2.5 years with no issues other than the occassional cord/hand towel/shoe lace tangle. Regarding deals and model to buy it depends on price and type of floor. If you have any substantial mopping I recommend the QRevo Edge 5SA

Are any of the newer models better at dealing with hair than s5 max?
We just got the roborock Q10 S5+ a few weeks ago and it does very well with hair. It does not entangle in the brush and the function to return to the station to empty the dust box is very helpful. We do run it on a 15 min. intervall of cleaning and emptying out, which is quite often but has helped a

automatic vacuum vs traditional vacuum? which one is best?
They are worth it for daily maintenance but as others said, you still need to vacuum fully once a month or so. FYI mopping really doesn't work as well as you want it to, and I always tell people to just ignore it exists, and thus the $1k+ vacs that have the autocleaning / refill for mopping are unne

Upgrade 35S?
The Q10 S5+ was a great vacuum, however it was quite poor at mopping. Plus removing the mop pad to pre-wet it was inconvenient as the vacuum reverses in to the dock. It also lacks a lot of functions that other robots have on the same app strangely. I had no idea until I upgraded. The robot would con

Recommendations for non-mop models?
I have the Roborock Q10 S5+. I gave up on the mopping cuz it’s just a vibrating mop pad but just like you, the vacuuming was wayyy more important to me so I didn’t really care about the mop. The vacuuming is great. The robot also has pretty good sensors and my family and I have been very happy with

Is a wet and dry vacuum cleaner worth the money?
Booo. Roborock q10 s5+ is $279 with an auto empty bin. I would do something like that and mop once a week manually.

Why do robot vacuums still need so much hands-on effort? (Expectation vs. Reality)
I finally purchased one that has auto empty and that has saved me tons of hands on. I don't run on schedule so I can pick up before it vacuums so that getting stuck isn't an issue. And letting it go daily or at least every 2 days it stays on top of the hair from my 4 cats. We have 2 RoboRock Q10 S5+
