Which robot vacuums actually work?
I did a ton of research on this a few months ago before I bought the roborock Q10 S5+. The way I see it, robot vacuums go in tiers: Cheap thing that goes around randomly vacuuming with no plan Less cheap thing with some intelligence/planning Moderate price that has intelligence and extra features li

Feeling shitty about my house
Robot vacuum changed our life. The Roborock Q10 S5+ is 279 right now. It is what we got to prove the ADHD theory. To be clear you do need to keep things picked up. But it like having an accountabilibuddy around all the time. Since having the vacuum and picking up for it for a few weeks you end up wi

Are robot vacuums really worth it? Has anyone had one over a year or so and still love it?
I love mine. More than I love my children. Roborock q10 s5+. It's saved me loads of time and bother carting Henry about. I have a hairy dog and the vac sometimes gets a bit blocked up, so it's not bullet proof. But still, I love it.

Roborock Q10 S5+. I mostly got it to handle dog hair because my Cattle Dog sheds like a motherfucker and I'm tired of pube-looking clumps of hair everywhere.

What’s the most frustrating thing about owning a cat?
I have a Ecovacs omni 2x or something like that, I got it off marketplace for $220 (CAD). If I had more money I would’ve probably purchased a Roborock initially because my friend praised it highly (specifically the Q10 S5+ or something like that.)

Things that make your life easier?
It depends on your needs. We have a Roborock Q10 s5+ for our secondary floor, and a Eufy Omni S2 for the primary floor. We love having clean floors all the time and it forces you to keep more tidy so it can do the work.

Shedding Season
I use a roborock Q10 S5+. I typically start it when I go out for walks, and have it on a higher suction (louder) then when I come back in, it's done with the main room I use to do my WFH job, and I turn it to a less loud setting but change it to do 2x (sweep horizontally and vertically) for the rest

What’s a GOOD robot vacuum for pet owners?
Robots are mechanically and electrically much more complex than normal vacuums and despite the higher relative price they are not built as well as normal vacuums. Depending on your definition of "long term", none are reliable. You can expect 2 or 3 years before a serious failure. And that's with reg

What to get now that the Q5 is discontinued?
Sorta in same boat. I'm torn between Roborock QV 35A Robot Vacuum with Multifunctional Dock and Roborock Q10 S5+ Robot Vacuum and Mop with Auto- Empty Dock. The latter being 299 and simpler. I figure I could use the mop sometimes. Anyone have suggestions?
