You are missing out on largely effortless wellness tracking with useful, actionable insights...but, it may be worth waiting a few months for RingConn Gen 3 or Ultrahuman Pro to see how they up the game. NOTE: I would keep your Garmin for workouts as no smart ring is good at that kind of tracking.
