For those reasons, I'm out!
I was a big believer in RingConn until about the 14 month mark of ring ownership. Now my ring lasts maybe 3 days after a full charge. I used to only charge it to 80% to reduce battery degradation but it seems like it has made no difference. These ring batteries don’t last and you’re left with paying

Bought a ring Conn and the started seeing all these bad things :(
I have had my RingConn gen 2 for 11 months and have had no issues with it. I am probably going to upgrade to the gen 3 whenever it releases as well. My battery still holds for a good 10 days and the mobile charger seems like it’s magical because I’ve probably charged it twice total, maybe 3 times bu

Unpopular opinion, if you care about Ringconn as a company and believe the vision, purchase Ringconn Care+
$30/yr isn’t too steep for coverage but I opted out because they seem pretty honorable about replacing faulty rings. IMO if you’re buying a $200+ smart ring and it doesn’t last a year they should replace it. I know better than most that LiPo batteries are low quality and don’t last long, that’s a co

Gen3 worth it?
Yes this.I’m not married to the product like some. I am willing to try out the new Google Fitbit because it’s only $99.My original goal was just to have all the health data my Apple Watch gives me but without all the notifications and distractions. RingConn does a great job with this but the gen 2 b

Tech ring jacket for ring conn?
Keep in mind that you may have to take this thing off every time you charge it, unless it comes with a customized charger to fit that shape. And it sounds like my situation is fairly common—after a year, the battery is shot and you have to charge it every 2-3 days for it to function. I’m not saying

Buyer Beware: 2nd catastrophic battery failure
I’m entering the same boat. Backer from early days. My suspicion is that they want to do what Apple does with IP68 water rating. Phone and watch last 30 minutes under 50m of water. But real world water: phone and watch do not last 3 seconds in 30cm water. Equate: RingConn lasts 14 days. But that’s f

Gen3 worth it?
I'm moving to the Google Fitbit Air. Already pre-ordered. $99 and likely WAY better fitness tracking and data. The nice thing about the new Google Health app is that, at least on iOS, it will PULL from Apple Health, which means it will pull the sleeping data from RingConn if you sync with Apple Heal

GEN 3 WHEN?!
RingConn Gen 2. Dies in 2 days. Didn't happen slowly just happened overnight. Resets don't help.

Torn between RingConn Gen 2 and Oura – worth waiting on software improvements?
I currently have the Oura Gen 4, UH, and RC Gen 2. I’ve done my comparison to the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Like you I mainly use mine for sleep tracking. App wise Ultrahuman has the best app, followed by Oura. I am not a fan on the Ring Conn app. It does have a lot of data but the presentation needs imp

Prone to failure?
Despite what many claim, this is not about immaturity of the technology - or even inferior manufacturing of the rings themselves. It's fundamentally about one thing...the batteries from a shared supply chain. Before about 16 months ago, the major brands would last 1.5-2yrs. Something happened with t
