I just finished testing over 20 overnight pulse oximeters against a $1,500 hospital grade pulse oximeter. Here's all the data!

The problem I've had with my Wellue O2Ring is that sometimes I put my arm behind me while I'm asleep (I sleep on my side). If I do that, it impairs my circulation and the ring registers a very low SpO2 which is for sure local, affecting only my arm. So I can't reliably get data on my overall O2 leve

Men who were in denial about sleep apnea — how did you finally realize you needed help? What made you take your sleep apnea seriously?

These posts are truly so depressing and common! Who are all these men out here thinking they're gonna fistfight Death and that breathing is for wimps? If he already knows the Jo Koy routine, my guess is recording the sound won't help. He thinks he's tougher than Shaq and Brett Favre, both of whom us

Oura Ring, Severe Sleep Apnea, and 48 Days of “Good” — What Their Own Support Confirmed in Writing

To measure SpO2 at high resolution, you need a device like Wellue O2Ring-S. It records SpO2 & heart rate every second. There are other options but this is the most comfortable form factor to wear IMO. I upload my CPAP data and O2Ring data into OSCAR (free open source software) to analyze my breathin

Wellue O2Ring-S vs Wellue Checkme O2 Max overnight pulse ox data comparison

Hello all. I have a new diagnosis of mild sleep apnea that I wanted to try to improve without CPAP via weightloss and a mandibular advancement device. My diagnosis was pretty mild (AHI 11) w/ majority supine. I am a very data driven person, so in order to track if these interventions were doing anyt

Best overnight pulse oximeter

I use the Wellue O2 ring that does every second. It imports into OSCAR and SleepHQ, which was important to me. These days, I tend to look at the movement chart as much as the O2 chart because it helps me know that I was awake at certain times when looking at my flow rate chart. Do I need it? Probabl

Oh yeah my point was really about the wellue O2 ring only. The wellue support themselves recommended me the left thumb and for me it was quite a difference. I see your point though.

Device for measuring blood o2 at home?

I just bit the bullet and got the Wellue O2 ring. Didn’t know how accurate alternatives were. Wellue syncs with both SleepHQ and OSCAR so you can compare the data together. If you’ve got small fingers you can probably fit into a child’s one for £50

If you want overnight continuous monitoring of your o2 levels then I would recommend to get the wellue o2ring-S (newest model) available on amazon.

How do you know you're actually getting enough oxygen with CPAP? Is it possible you're partially suffocating even at 0 AHI but you but you don't know it?

I wear a Wellue O2 ring every night (except for last night when the cat distracted me right when I was about to put it on). It imports into OSCAR and SleepHQ. Most of the time, the data isn't that interesting, but I like to use the movement data to help me recognize when I turn over, or when an even

O2 RING / Oximeter - that is accurate, doesn't have a huge light, and you can export CSV

They all have lights coming out of them because that's how pulse oximeters work. They shine two beams of light (red and infrared). It measures how much light passes through. Oxygen-rich blood absorbs infrared light, while oxygen-poor blood absorbs red light. The device calculates your blood oxygen p
