My RingConn Gen 2 does record heart rate data on detected workouts. Most of the time I am using my watch for workouts in accompaniment to my ring, but sometimes my Apple Watch is not on. This was not an actual “cycling” workout. I was cleaning and vacuuming lol but just to show you that it does work
