Whats your dream Retroid?
Honestly Retroid Pocket 5 with an aftermarket grip checks all the boxes for me. Small size Fantastic screen Nice-feeling controls Comes in fun colors (GameCube purple) Powerful enough to emulate up to GameCube / PS2 / Wii Relatively inexpensive at $219 (for what you get). I stream Steam PC games to

Buying my first emulator
You need to tell us what you want to play. Ayn Thor's main thing is the dual screen. If you are mainly interested in DS/3DS emulation, it's the way to go. The Lite model has the same chip as the Retroid Pocket 5/Flip 2. The other models have the same chip as the Retroid Pocket 6, as well as more RAM

New on Retro Handhelds
Id say the really common recommendations around here are things like anbernic rg34xxsp / miyoo mini flip ($65) if you want to stay cheap, small, and up through like GBA/PS1. From there you can definitely jump up to the Mangmi Air X ($110) with a bigger screen for putting NDS side by side or playing

What settings should I use for NetherSX2 on retroid pocket flip 2?
First pro tip: there are some multi-platform games that just work better on other systems, so sometimes you just got to choose that option instead. For example: I have most of the SSX games running on Dolphin instead of on NetherSX2, so I use the GameCube versions, except for the first SSX game, whi

Trying to run conkers bad fur day and it's super choppy?
I have a Retroid Pocket 5 and an Ayn Thor, both can handle GC and PS2 without any issues, even the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro can run GC+PS2 though the screen is a bit small. The Retroid Pocket Flip 2 is the same chipset as the RP5 so it's a good candidate too. I couldn't find a sub $150 handheld that wil

Help me decide
If you're going to stream PC games, it'll be more than enough, and if you only do some light PC gaming, you can use Winlator. Here;s some videos about these options: Streaming and locally stored:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6z75oSHWGwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1-PkVjBW4I Using Winlator:htt

Retro Dodad like GBMicro
From my research there's the miyoo a30, anbernic rg300x, there's allso this: https://ayaneo.co/nl/product/ayaneo-pocket-s2/?attribute_pa_color=obsidiaanzwart&attribute_pa_configuration=8gb-lpddr5x-128gb-ufs-3-1 which is very pricy but I think it can run ps2 easily In all reality I would probably just lo

Device recommendations for a total newb in this bloated handheld enviroment?
I have the ayn thor and retroid pocket 5 and the rg ds and like them all. The thor is the most powerful with the rp5 2nd and rgds 3rd. Thor will play anything for the most part rp5 can play up to some light switch and rgds can play up to some light 3ds games.

Recommendations for PSP handheld
If keeping it under $300 is the budget I'd say the Retroid Pocket 5 (200) or G2 (220) would be plenty. Good screens and can extend into higher tiers than PSP, with the G2 being a bit better. The AYN Thor Lite (250) would be my recommendation if you plan on playing a lot of DS games. DS is fine on a

32m video game emulator
In the bath tub? Sounds like an accident waiting to happen... 😉 But all kidding aside: I already know all about these devices, so I also know the differences. And no offense, but I never said they are Android devices, just that I myself am using an Android device, namely the Retroid Pocket 5. Which,
