I just talked to Retroid CS , they are considering selling the Retroid pocket Flip 2 with the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset on Amazon as they still have hundreds of it in stock and will take a month to be Available

I really wish they would have given that model a different name. So many people (myself included) tell people the Flip 2 and RP5 have the same internals so it's a matter of personal preference when deciding which one to buy. (Because we forget the other option exists or assume no one would buy it) S

Whats your dream Retroid?

Honestly Retroid Pocket 5 with an aftermarket grip checks all the boxes for me. Small size Fantastic screen Nice-feeling controls Comes in fun colors (GameCube purple) Powerful enough to emulate up to GameCube / PS2 / Wii Relatively inexpensive at $219 (for what you get). I stream Steam PC games to

RP4 Pro Restock

From posts I've read on here: Better portability / pocketability over the Retroid Pocket 5 and Retroid Pocket 6. Realizing that PC / Switch / WiiU / etc games aren't that important to them or isn't as important as the portability to them actually using the device. People that have multiple devices i

PC Streaming on RP6?

It will be your "Steam Deck 2 Lite". Local PC streaming (over Wifi) on a Retroid Pocket 6 is very viable. 5G PC streaming is a terrible experience, and not viable. The packet loss and lag makes it too jittery. For a period of ~10 months, I completely stopped using my Steam Deck and used only my Retr

$549 for Steam Deck OLED or $133 for PS Portal?

Tl;dr: Consider a Retroid Pocket 5. It may be a good balance between cost and potential for additional (light) capability. So, OP. Most people only talk about PC handhelds here because they're the hot thing. But if you mainly want to stream, like the cheaper price point, but might like additional Ca

Ordered a Pocket Nova

Hello, Retroid Pocket 5 and 6 owner here. Welcome to the Retroid family. You'll soon find out what great and capable devices they are, because your options are many. Perhaps even more than you ever thought possible. Here's a tutorial/to do list that I compiled earlier this month, that should help yo

Tell me your experiences on using Retroid Pocket 5, from the day you got it until today.

I've had an RP5 for about a year. I use it as my bedroom/patio gaming machine. I also have a ROG Xbox Ally that I just got recently but it really hasn't impacted my Retroid use that much. For me the RP5 is the perfect size for a travel console. I just played a nice 18 holes of Mario Golf on GameCube

Tell me your experiences on using Retroid Pocket 5, from the day you got it until today.

I made a post about my 1 year of experience with my rp5, here it is if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/retroid/s/J4KHAbHpAv Long story short I love it and have used it even more than I thought I would (I got over 1,500 retro achievements on it, I finished 30 games in 1 year, in addition

If youre buying a Retroid Pocket just for Ps2 emulation, hold off.

Why should people hold off? That's giving people the wrong idea about these devices, since most current Retroid handhelds such as the G2, RP5, Flip 2, 4 Pro and of course the RP6 and Nova can run PS2 games just fine. The thing is, you shouldn't use the Turnip version as the default emulator; the bes

Buying my first emulator

You need to tell us what you want to play. Ayn Thor's main thing is the dual screen. If you are mainly interested in DS/3DS emulation, it's the way to go. The Lite model has the same chip as the Retroid Pocket 5/Flip 2. The other models have the same chip as the Retroid Pocket 6, as well as more RAM
