Is it worth getting the rp4 pro in the big 2026??
I own the Retroid Pocket 4 pro. The hardware is very nice and it really feels like it's meant to used on the go, The buttons and triggers is also nice. The processor though is not suitable for Switch emulation and it might not be the best for PS2. Ps2 emulation is not very optimized. So you will nee

Retroid Pocket 4 Pro

RP4 PRO - PS2 emulation question, and other mini questions.
Defo worth it, so far played many ps2 games and had only issue (performance wise) with a call of duty? Double check games you want go play on yt: title + retroid pocket 4 pro. There are maaany videos testing almost every game you want to check. For ps2 and GameCube defo highly recommend this console

Current best PS2 handheld for around $100?
At $100, you have a few options. If you're ok with used, the best option would be a used Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. You'll be able to do all of PS2, Gamecube, and Wii, along with some lighter PC emulation via Gamehub/Gamehub Lite/Winlator/Game Native, and some light Switch emulation via Eden/Kenji NX. If

Search a handheld for ZZZ
This is basically the answer. Your gunna need atleast a snapdragon gen chip To play ZZZ comfortably I did have a retroid pocket 4 pro that actually did play ZZZ decently well. I wouldn’t recommend Buying a rp4 pro at this stage though, the rp5 is better in every way and not that much more.

Good handheld for pokemon?
I upgraded to a Flip 2 from a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. For what you're after - a RP4 Pro is more than sufficient. I'd get one of those and save the extra cash for the next big device, or for another "boredom" device.

GameHub 4.1.4. on Retroid Pocket 4 Pro (first impressions)
The Retroid Pocket 4 Pro and the Retroid Pocket 5 are pretty much on par in terms of specs, drivers was the main reason the RP5 outperformed the RP4P (Which disproportionately affects Winlator and Switch Emulation), so if this new drivers business keeps improving the RP4P starting to close the gap I

Mod 2026 Tutorial Released
This guide worked for me. Although now I play on Retroid Pocket 4 Pro instead of my Steamdeck. I actually want to find a way to wipe out anything I event did on Steamdeck emulation and start clean. I wasn't good at it and it got really quirky after updates on some emulators. I'm shockingly better at

Pocket 4 Pro - still worth it ?
The Retroid Pocket 4 Pro is for sure the one for your use case and still worth it. I have the red RP4 Pro. It is awesome and that's coming from a person that prefers dpad on the bottom. It plays up to PS2 very well. The design is better for your pocket but you should definitely get a 2 in 1 Case and

Handheld consoles
Retroid Pocket 4 Pro is a great size, I play a lot of PS2 and some Gamecube on it, Dreamcast, PSP, a ton of PS1 (my fav system) and SNES.It plays a ton of systems, if you have a robust library of roms, it is great because the RP4+ is pocketable yet still has a great screen size imo.Steam Deck is a w
