Video Doorbell PoE

ring is corrupt and does not respect your privacy at all. reolink is a 100% Chinese government company, and unifi has zero support while being overpriced... I do alarm.com PoE doorbells and have had great luck with them. just did 50 of them in an apartment complex not too long ago.

What you require (for maximum performance/security) are 2 cameras, possibly 3 even. You want 2 cameras (or more) because the first one will overlook the general scene (close to your home) and you will need another one with optical zoom, because 1/4 mile is a lot to cover. Especially because the Reolink POE doorbell has contacts for the doorbell wiring! But it won’t ring the chime like a dumb bell, instead it’s only an alternative power source option :(
