ring is corrupt and does not respect your privacy at all. reolink is a 100% Chinese government company, and unifi has zero support while being overpriced... I do alarm.com PoE doorbells and have had great luck with them. just did 50 of them in an apartment complex not too long ago.

Video doorbell with local recording (no subscription) that actually RINGS my mechanical chime

Especially because the Reolink POE doorbell has contacts for the doorbell wiring! But it won’t ring the chime like a dumb bell, instead it’s only an alternative power source option :(
