The Eufy E340 highlights a clear gap in UniFi’s lineup.
Reolink has a Elite Floodlight coming also. Camera uses 12v/poe. The lights are 120v. So they can be brighter. I think the lights will still reflect license plates so stuff like this is really only good for deterrents, I think anyway.

Garage hit twice with an angle grinder – need a serious anti-theft setup
Detering a theft beats preventing an actual theft IMHO. Psychology. You want them to pick a different target. You can get cheap-enough Reolink PTZ cameras - ones that move - so the theif really knows and feels they are being watched. Have it set up so the floodlight on the camera turns on when a per

Garage hit twice with an angle grinder – need a serious anti-theft setup
That was mine too after having a couple things stolen, bikes included, at my old large apartment building. Also gotta love that management installed 'hidden' cameras in the storage area because, quote, 'we don't want tenants to think there's a theft problem.' At my current place I've had some...trou

Motion detector lights for a small space? Neighbor concerns.
Reolink flood cameras give you the ability to select the brightness of flood lights, from 0 to 100. If you can I'd recommend the PoE Duo Flood but if wiring is an issue you can go with the Solar/battery flood. Put an SD card in one of these and not only will have you a deterrent with the light, you'

Need advice on home security setup (Reolink + alarm system + monitoring options)
What is the issue with ring beyond the subscription fee? It seems fairly cheap and has third party monitoring. Just too many to list, it would take me an hour to explain. Basically it is issues with privacy/security risks, extremely awful useless hardware and software, bad company policies, and then

ONVIF Cameras
From my experience, there isn’t a good way to get 180 cameras to work with the AI Port due to wider than 4k output. So if you are interested in that, skip the third party cameras. Without the AI Port, you will have no AI events. Also they may not stream as well. Personally, I won’t use 3rd party cam

Thoughts on my Future Security Setup
Do not use dome protected cameras in outdoor environments. You will have issues. I don't think the 843A in the backyard is needed at all since you have a Duo covering everything. I'd swap all the Duo 2 for Duo Elite Floodlight PoE. Because the Duo 2 only detects up to like 40 feet or something like

New Camera Setup
Yes, you can use with Frigate. I know the Doorbell would work for sure, because the Wi-Fi version of the doorbell is the go-to doorbell for people running Blue Iris/Frigate, etc, even amongst Reolink haters. But the the Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi I don't know, it is a new camera but looking at some redd

Need help choosing a camera setup + placement (detailed)
Use Reolink then, it is the best atm for Wi-Fi cameras. You should opt for plugged-in Wi-Fi cameras, battery powered are the worst of the worst, doesn't matter the brand they are almost useless pretty much. If you can swap the motion activated light , swap that for Reolink Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi, yo

Doorbell: Aqara Vs Eufy Vs Reolink
I previously had the original Nest Hello doorbell and moved to the white Reolink WiFi doorbell ~18 months ago. It draws its power from the doorbell transformers. I've been happy with it, but I really want a new version that has a ColorX-type camera. Reolink doesn't currently have something like that
