I have two Reolink E1 (Zoom and Pro), Eufy wifi floodlight PTZ, and a Amcrest Wifi Doorbell. Some are super stable, some are not. I have Unifi U6 APs with nothing under -60Db, my wifi is rock solid. Some of the wired cameras are not stable too. The problem doesn't split on the wifi/wired divide

Ranking the best outdoor security cameras that don't require subscriptions

New here and need suggestions
Since it is not critical thing, you could get by with a wi-fi plugged in camera. Get a reolink wi-fi model, use Wi-Fi 5 or 6 with it, get a microSD and that's pretty much it. Maybe Reolink E1 Pro or E1 zoom if you want something a bit better and a bit more reliable. Wi-Fi cameras are not reliable (o
