My honest review about Tapo camera
C230 is low end cheap camera and you are saying it's the best they have the C250 and C260 which are the new recent models and you are comparing to reolink models that cost 200+, even the E1 pro costs 50 are you using the app on other phones with the same account? I never had that kind of problem onl

Blue tit nest cam in our garden
I’m using two completely different cameras: one inside the nest box (a Green Backyard Bird WiFi camera) and one outside (a Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro). Both stream via RTSP, which I bring into OBS. Syncing the two feeds has been a real challenge. Ideally, I’d use a Reolink camera inside as well—that wou

My honest review about Tapo camera
I use only one device and that is my mobile phone. The only better indoor camera was C250 but the price was $60 and I bought C230 for $38. The price difference between Reolink ($45) and Tapo ($38) was very low but the only reason was the seller hadn't any E1 Pro.

Newb question: is the 'g6 instant' the wrong device for me?
If you don't have a burning itch to get into the UniFi ecosystem: return it and buy a Reolink. The dirt cheap Reolink E1 Pro will work for your purpose but if you can swing it, I highly recommend buying a more expensive (read: less shitty) model.

Product Recommendation (NVR and Associated Cameras)
The home hub is compatible with battery powered cameras (aka wireless/solar), you wnt to have the home hub pro and not the normal one, because storage, etc and it acts more like the NVR. I'd also go with home hub pro because you are renting so you might eventually run out of places you can plug in (

Looking for an outdoor camera to use with BirdNet_Pi and Who's At My Feeder. Any recommendations?
I ran both Birdnet-GO and WAMF on a Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro (and an audio feed off my doorbell as well) this year before The Others came and turned the North into a frozen wasteland. False positives were a bit annoying, so I’ve got more tweaking I need to do. Is that why you want to turn off noise re

Looking for the “apple” equivalent of home security for my parents
There are two versions of "E1 Outdoor" with PoE and (no WiFi chipset) but neither seems to be an exact feature-for-feature match for the regular "Pro" Weird that Reolink would put an ethernet jack on the E1 Outdoor Pro but not put a Power-over-Ethernet chipset on it so you could just use PoE instead
