Yes, PoE is the way to go. You are good here. Your camera selection, not so much. You shouldn't use dome protected cameras in outdoor areas, they get a lot of problems with rain/dust and glare, you will end up replacing them, they are meant more for indoor use. Help with recommendation - I’m clueless!
I had a contractor do that for me. They ran cables through the attic/vinyl siding and then into my room which has the NVR. Cost me $800 to install 2 doorbells and 2 cameras (including running the wire). Your plan sounds fine. I really like the Reolink Duo 2V Poe and Reolink Duo 2 Poe. Both 4K camera

Reolink Elite Floodlight in Protect
I have 6 or so reolink cams (Duo 2V which are their 180 degree cams) currently on Protect while I migrate then over to unifi cams. Currently have an equal split I'll likely keep a few of them around tho. Works great via ONVIF You do lose AI detection. But do get continous recording via Protect. Work

Reolink AI ONVIF vs Codeproject AI comparison
Yes, BI zones. Do Reolink cameras have zones, and does the zone information flow through the ONVIF data? I have two Duo 2V's, and they don't have zones, except the one zone to stop the camera from alerting itself. Yes, I find the Reolink AI far more consistant.
