Camera Advice needed - Typical (but new Protect Update) Reolink vs Unifi
I’m actually in the middle of moving from Reolink to UniFi myself. Reolink has honestly been solid for me the past year. Running PoE cams like the Duo 2V, 1240A and doorbell without issues. Hard to beat the value for the money. Main reason I’m switching is more the ecosystem side and Protect UI/app

Reolink Elite Floodlight in Protect
I have 6 or so reolink cams (Duo 2V which are their 180 degree cams) currently on Protect while I migrate then over to unifi cams. Currently have an equal split I'll likely keep a few of them around tho. Works great via ONVIF You do lose AI detection. But do get continous recording via Protect. Work

Reolink statement on NDAA Compliance
I don't give a shit what an LLM thinks about it. Anyone with a decent grasp of English is a more legitimate source of information. Anyways, as it would happen I did just have to give in and resort to using a Reolink Duo 2V for something because there's nothing near it in terms of price and quality b
