Best wireless outdoor cameras without subscriptions
The reolink Altas Pt Ultra is the only camera in the market, that I'm aware of, that is battery powered and that can record 24/7 to some degree. Any other wireless camera can't record 24/7, they just record motion/detection events. IMO, for a battery powered camera there is no better solution than t

An experiment…external battery and 12w solar panel
I've been using a Reolink battery cam with continuous recording for a while, paired with a 6W solar panel. It stays at 100% battery every day, though it's summer at my location right now. If it struggles to keep up in winter, I'll upgrade to a 12W panel (even though it feels a bit big for me). https

Setting up new server
Even if you do solar power, there are very few solar-powered cameras that support continuous 24/7 RTSP streaming. The vast majority of battery-powered and solar-powered cameras are designed only for event-based streaming/recording where the camera only fully wakes up and starts streaming or recordin

What size microSD for two weeks continuous recording? + camera recommendations please!
Reolink or Eufy would have been a better option. Tapo might work. Stay away from Blink. You already bought the Tapos so just go with those. Well you really can't record 24/7 with a battery powered camera, the only battery powered camera that can do that to some extent is the Reolink Altas PT Ultra,

Help me create a wireless SETUP
Ah thanks for mentioning the monitor for Eufy, I had forgotten about that. So yeah, if you buy that I'm guessing it would also be a viable option. So reolink system with home hub pro or Eufy system with e10 monitor should do (once that one is available). Also if this is your first time using wireles

Help finding security camera, overwhelmed with options
Battery powered cameras (or wireless) can't record 24/7, they record only motion/detection events. The only exception to the rule is the Reolink Altas PT Ultra with 12w solar panel, which can do 24/7 to some degree but it won't be perfect, nor reliable (anything Wi-Fi is not reliable) and you will m

Wired Camera Setup For Family
The NVR is required if you want additional capabilities and/or some way to store more footage. Without the NVR you'd have to go with PoE Cameras + PoE switch + microSD setup. The problem is that normally cameras will hold up to 256 GB microSD and with that you can only have 1-2 days of 24/7 recordin

New to security cameras, please help recommend one?
OP, just to add a bit of info: You won't have zone fencing, which is what you are looking for with a Wi-Fi camera. Just a heads up. Reolink does have a "painting" kind of things where you don't have alerts but, in my experience, doesn't work well. Reolink recently released the Reolink Altas (sort of

Reliable Security camera with cellular and battery for Work site
I think that having 4G LTE camera is the best in terms of easy install, because you can install them pretty much anywhere outdoors, but the Wyze cam that you are suggesting would only work if there's a light bulb already there. Of course the cons of the 4G LTE camera is that you need a SIM card for

Security cameras that have push email alerts?
Yes, I think you definitely did a good choice if you are going with Wi-Fi solar powered and Reolink. As a tip, there's the Reolink Altas models (Altas and Altas PT Ultra), those are IMO the best battery powered cameras in the market for residential use right now, especially the Altas model, because
