The rM2 is a very stable device with no major hardware issues. All the issues you read about are with the Pro series of devices. The software is limited for all models. But if all you're using this for is a single notebook, you will find the lack of features to be very beneficial. You're basically d

Absolutely! The fineliner definitely needs a thickness between thin and medium. Thin is barely a scratch, especially on the Pro where the "black" and "white" contrast is lower than on the rM2. The medium is just a little too sloppy for small writing styles. I've frequently written this request to th

Here's my lil guide to automate pushing the NYT Crossword puzzle to your ReMarkable every morning. I've been doing it for months and love it so much. https://uxthoughts.notion.site/NYT-Daily-Crossword-to-reMarkable-228c78fafcc880b68aa5e79ce7505b28

I was the one who made the post the other day about Norway watching our posts. reMarkable is certainly paying attention. If I get several hundred views on a post and 15% of those views are from Norway, there's definitely something to that. In fact, I'm glad they're paying attention to this. When I c

Love these! but until reMarkable supports these without dev mode I am not going to use custom sleep screens. Every time there’s an update (at least that was the case on my rM2, didn’t check on the later models) you need to set it again, i just can’t be bothered. Please reMarkable allow us to set cus

It's a notebook replacement. If that's not for you, a Boox/Kindle Scribe device is a better fit. I use reMarkable 2 and pp, an older Boox device and have a Kobo and Kindle devices. I don't expect one device to do everything, so I use what best fits the need at the time. As for your handwriting, it w

Bold of you to assume reMarkable has changed anything software related in 6 months. They have not. I have though. I too was super annoyed by how pages created on the Move were differently sized from my other rM, and how the Move's zoom was set on notebooks, so I wrote a couple mods to make this beha

I just started using reManager a couple of weeks ago. I love this set-up! I've connected it to one of my rM1s, one of my rM2s, and my Paper Pro. I'm not especially tech-savvy and since I work long hours at my own business, I don't really enjoy committing many hours to experimenting with tech. That s

The colours on the Scribe is generally worse, partially from the screen tech, and it needing way more frontlight to be the same level of "white" as for reMarkable 2, if you can wait a little bit, there does seem to be some rumors about a new device, and there are a couple hints that it might be here

I'm with you. But the reMarkable "ethos" you're describing is the monochrome rM1 and rM2 devices led by Magnus Wanberg. Anything happening today with the Gallery 3 devices is all Phil Hess and it's a different philosophy
