reMarkable's Excuses for Business Failure

I ordered six reMarkable 2 tablets between 2022 and 2024 for our company as an IT admin. While they definitely have their upsides compared to an iPad, the following experiences were dealbreakers for us: 3 out of 6 devices had to be sent in for RMA, and the RMA process was honestly pretty bad. We’re

Is it too much to ask for thinness slider?

Absolutely! The fineliner definitely needs a thickness between thin and medium. Thin is barely a scratch, especially on the Pro where the "black" and "white" contrast is lower than on the rM2. The medium is just a little too sloppy for small writing styles. I've frequently written this request to th

New Paper Pure Leak!

reMarkable's and Boox (on the 2nd gen Go 10.3) is leagues better than other USI. I find it better than my rM2's EMR with mag distortion.

A few things I need

The reMarkable 2 is grayscale. The Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move are color e-ink displays and can show colored pen tools just fine. You cannot insert a PDF into a notebook. You can add note pages to PDFs and directly annotate on the PDF pages as well. You can export this combined PDF + notes pages as

So what do you think?

I think it's a worthy successor to the rm2. It improves on it in all the right areas (design language more in line with current lineup, smaller footprint, better battery life and a faster SOC with more RAM) while still being different enough to the Paper Pro as to not make for an unfocused lineup of

Need opinions on why I should choose the reMarkable Paper Pro over the Supernote Manta

The color has been a huge improvement for me over my reMarkable 2. Documents are more engaging; my notes are better organized. The Paper Pro has a harder, more textured writing feel, whereas the Supernote is softer. Supernote can run Android apps, reMarkable can only run some custom apps and browse

E-ink notebooks for ADHD- actually helpful?"

I’ve been using the ReMarkable 2 for almost a year consistently. The physical feel of the writing is pretty similar to pen and paper (as opposed to iPad, which I tried to make work so many times) and I can change up my organization as the need strikes.

Whats the idea Remarkable?

USI behaves much better than the rM2's EMR due to reMarkable's use of strong magnets. The rM2 was a flagship device, the Paper Pro is the new flagship.

Should I return the RM2 in hopes of the Paper Pure?

The writing feel of the Pure will be different from the rM2. If you can try out writing on a Paper Pro or Paper Pro Move at Best Buy, that's what the Pure will feel like. If you paid full price for the rM2, you might consider returning it and go for a refurb from reMarkable for $80 off compared to n

I don't get Paper Pro value over RM2

To my eyes at least, the display offers enough contrast for me to use it comfortably. This of course comes down to your vision and the environments you use the device in, so it's bound to be highly subjective. I use the Paper Pro at work, at my desk at home, or in a lecture hall. These are all envir
