Inside the world of men who use smart glasses to secretly film women

So, firstly - fuck Meta. However, VIDEO CAMERA GLASSES are a thing. Not smart/AI/internet glasses. Just video camera glasses. And they're less than $50 on Amazon for a pair of 1080p, or a little more for 4K. Obviously don't be a creep and do shit like what OP's article talks about, but they'd be a h

Someone secretly recorded a person with a smart glass and humiliated her.

I was given a pair of rayban meta’s as a work freebie. What a crock of shit, and that’s ignoring the clear nonce aspect of things. sod all battery life, will not pair with anything unless it’s zuckerburg approved. it has to be actively paired to a phone to do anything. you can look at, say, a painti

$70 billion loss over 4 years in metaverse and VR/AI glasses

Just looking at their current product, rayban metas, they’re pretty damn cool and work very well. Based on them being the first mover + cool factor I’m bullish on meta. Plus they have shifted their focus to AI and the metaverse stuff seems to have taken a back seat. FB + instagram + WhatsApp continu

We’re blowing up! 🚀 To all our new members: Which pair of smartglasses is currently your favorite?"

I am in LOVE with my RayBan Meta Displays. I wear them as much as possible but the lack of progressive lens option is limiting. Ray BanMeta Gen 2s get worn when I need my full prescription. Even Realities are third, because of the progressive lenses issue and I'm not shelling out a billion dollars f

Technologically and scientifically speaking, how close are we to the blind person’s equivalent of a cochlear implant?

I have the meta AI glasses, while it's current form is extremely lacking, the AI is quite dumb and gives false answers way too often for me to consider it a decent aid. However, I can easily see this tech advancing to the point where it could be a cheaper, non surgical route to aiding the blind. I k

Insta 360 go3s vs Meta glasses vs Meta Vanguard vs DJI nano (Google POV Cam)

I have the Ray ban meta glasses, the Oakley meta glasses, and almost every kind of action cam and my favorite is still the G03 (not S) there are features they got rid of on the S model and Ultra (horizon lock) and certain aspect ratios. I’m still testing the different meta glasses. The Ray-Ban I’ve

Being able to watch shows while cleaning is a game changer

I got both the Meta RayBan Displays and the RayNeo X3 Pros… I HATE the way you control the RayNeos and their battery life is even worse than the Metas… thinking of selling them to be honest, I barely use them and just find them to be a headache every time I do try to use them. I even got the Apple W

Insta360 alternative?

I have the RayBan Meta and Go3. I don’t care for the metas. The Oakley ones with the camera in the middle may be better, but as a right handed shooter, the metas are goofy for rifle/SG.

Are you upgrading to Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2

I ordered the RayBan Meta 2 and returning my Oakley HSTN Metas. While the HSTN is ok… it’s not great for everyday use. Plus it’s slightly uncomfortable for me. All my typical sunglasses are Wayfarers… so this is an easy switch.
