Eight Series 2

Glass French press is the only thing that is essentially mindless with no plastic parts that is cheap. You can get away with just using store ground coffee and water off the boil. The other option I know of is the Ratio 8. No plastic in hot water path but it's $$$$$.

Brother, I hear you. My kids are 16 and 18 (and I remember them as babies) but same as you… Over a decade into the espresso journey, I just simply can’t be arsed to do the espresso thing every morning. Moving from the niche zero grinder (single dose) back to my “grind by time” Profitec grinder helps
