Oysters, Ribeye and Cheesecake because why not?!

Rancilio Silvia M v6, which I retrofitted myself with a PID kit. I previously had a V3 that lasted about 10-11 years until the heating element on the boiler died (it was the version where the heating element is cast into the boiler, not replaceable). It has fewer features than the Classika but even

I own both a Gaggimate Pro Gaggia Classic and a Lelit Bianca – here's what surprised me

I deliberately chose the Rancilio Silvia v6 which came pre modded by a UK distributor to try to get the best of both worlds. It's a beast of a machine with all the intelligence and ease of Gaggimate Pro. I don't think I could have picked a better machine for me at that price point.

DeLonghi died, need new machine. [$600]

At that budget, you should look for a well-maintained Rancilio Silvia V6 (year 2020 and beyond) or a new Gaggia Classic Pro.

Is 480usd a good price for a used Rancilio silvia v6?

The latest version is the 2020 Silvia M isn’t it? How old is the v6? A new “M” is $900. I still have a GCP (in the garage) but had a Silvia in 2004. I now rock the Silvia Pro X. I love the Rancilio build quality. This article says the “6” came out in 2020: Silvia v6 I would consider this, if it is w

Help needed! Upgrade time

Thanks again, if you don't mind 1 more question. I've spotted a Rancilio Silvia V6 + Baratza Encore grinder, both used but for a great price. Do you think this combination would be a good step up from my Isomac + KG89. It's a much more affordable route.

Good entry level espresso machine?

At that budget, you can try the Rancilio Silvia V6 or Lelit Anna PID

Gaggia classic pro with Baratza grinder or Breville barista express ?

Anna pid is a solid option, but it has a peculiarity of having a non standard 57 mm portafilter. This makes it very difficult to find accessories and tools for it, especially in India, and if you do actually find some, they're priced exorbitantly. This leaves you with Gaggia evo pro and rancilio sil
