Lets share some British products and services that we might not know about.

Q Acoustics is a British audio speaker design company, a little pricy, but well reviewed. I really like their M20 USB/bluetooth speakers, which are equally adept at being your living room TV speakers as they are at giving your PC some proper hifi audio.

Speakers for turntable (overwhelming)

You definitely can't get futureproof powered speakers for 250 new. That said, you can get plenty of great sound for that budget. If your budget is ~€250, a small amp + passive speakers will usually beat powered speakers in sound quality. Powered sets like the Q Acoustics M20 HD or Edifier R2000DB ar

Got myself a late Christmas present

I have an Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB player and Q Acoustics M20 HD speakers, sounds pretty good to me. Would like to change to passive speakers with amplifiers at some point, but don't have the space for it now and I can use these speakers for my TV, record player and u it has bluetooth as well, so

Guidance for Vinyl Setup

The Q Acoustics M20 fit in your budget. They are really pretty decent. The have lots of connectivity options, but no AirPlay. I like their look, but not everyone does. If you can get a deal on a used KEF LSX II il or the LSX II LT, they will meet your needs but might be out of budget. Hope this help

Help picking a good speaker in India

Since you either need powered speakers, or amplifier and passive speakers, I would have suggested the powered Q Acoustics M20 HD) (SECRETS of Home Theater and High Fidelity review). They are around $500 USD in UK/USA. But at least on Amazon.in they look to be 55000 INR / 620 USD. Maybe you can find

What would be a good first turntable?

I’d favour Q Acoustics M20 over those, but I don’t know your connectivity requirements, so they may not suit. https://www.qacoustics.com/collections/m-series/products/m20-hd-wireless-music-system These have wifi, Fluance don’t. These don’t have HDMI arc, Fluance does. Sound wise, the M20s have multi

r/vinyl Weekly Questions Thread for the week of March 31, 2025

Thanks for the suggestions. I have looked at the Rega P3 a little and while it does seem to be more liked, its also a few hundred more expensive which I am not sure is worth it for me. Although I do like the design a little more so I'll keep considering it. The Q Acoustics M20 dont look to have ARC

r/vinyl Weekly Questions Thread for the week of August 18, 2025

I suggest you invest in a good pair of powered speakers like Q Acoustics M20. These will do everything you are wanting and sound really good. And later you can add a subwoofer to make the sound deeper. Because your turntable has a built in phono preamp you can connect them direct to the M20s. Check

NAD 302 - Speaker Advice

HDMI ARC/eARC doesn’t bring any sound improvements over PCM digital over S/PDIF connectors (Toslink or coaxial). Both are simply lossless for stereo speakers. Only thing that ARC/eARC can do differently is to allow TV’s remote to control the volume, and possibly automatically power on/off and change
