What's my next upgrade that makes the most sense
Speakers, with a caveat. Your JBLs are nearfield monitors. If you do all of your music listening sat at a desk then for the money, these aren't bad. There's a bit of a hump in the midrange, but otherwise they're fairly neutral. Being nearfield monitors makes it more difficult to create that 3D sound

First turntable
Fluance RT85 is great...but just be aware the Nagaoka cartridge lifespan is like 250 hours and you're gonna be replacing that. If you wanna save money initially and upgrade the Rt82 is essentially the same table minus the acrylic platter and an ortofon om10 instead of the 2m Blue. You can always loo

Getting it right the first time isn't possible, but I want to get as close as I can within my budget.
For the turntable as source you need a turntable that at least allow for replacement and re-balance of a different stylus as they wear and are easily broken. Unless the turntable has line level outputs you will need a phono stage pre-amp either as a separate external box, built into an amplifier or

My collection of CDs and CD playing devices
The Q Acoustics M20 are great. The best speakers I have ever had, especially when connected to a subwoofer. I use them with a Q Acoustics 3060s subwoofer and they sound awesome. I usually connect my CD players to these active speakers.

Is there a "one stop shop" for purchasing vinyl record *equipment* in Portland?
If you don’t mind picking up used equipment, check out OfferUp, FB Marketplace, and Craigslist. I picked up an Audio Technica LP120 a few years ago for $120. It’s a great entry level turntable. Do some research and find a few different options that you like then look for used ones. Whatever you do,

Turntable HiFi
$1,000 is a bit of a squeeze to get an amp and passive speakers (new) that are going to sound better than active speakers. I'd go audition Q Acoustics M20 active speakers ($799 AUD) versus say Wharfdale Diamond 12.0 ($500 AUD) with the Cambridge Audio AXA25 $599 AUD. The slightly forward sound of th

Vibelink comparison?
Solid advice! I currently have the 6000A paired with a Pro Plus. And I have an Ultra in another room connected to powered speakers (q acoustic M20's). I'm toying with the idea of WiiM Amp Ultra to replace the 6000A/Pro Plus, at least I am going to A/B test it. The main drive for this (apart from siz

Need advice for multiroom setup for both vinyl and digital (~€1000)
Besides Denon and HEOS, you could also go with WiiM products. For example with WiiM Pro Plus (ASR review) for your turntable room (because of the better ADC), and either WiiM Pro or WiiM Mini for the other room. Additionally you might want to consider slightly increasing your budget for some better

Need advice for multiroom setup for both vinyl and digital (~€1000)
I suggested the Q Acoustics M20 HD powered speakers. If you want to go with passive speakers and a amplifier (for each room), then it isn’t going to be cheaper. Instead of a separate streamer and amplifier, you could go with WiiM Amp (ASR review), or the better (more expensive) WiiM Amp Pro (ASR rev

NAD 302 - Speaker Advice
For powered speakers maybe consider the Q Acoustics M20 HD (SECRETS of Home Theater and High Fidelity review). For passive speakers with the NAD, e.g. the ELAC Debut 3.0 DB63-BK (EAC review).
