my new audio set up
Are you using 4" Edifier powered speakers with a stereo receiver that is meant to power passive speakers? If you want to keep using the powered speakers then you could replace the large stereo receiver with a small phono preamp. $22 Bozak may be similar quality to the one in the stereo receiver. $49

r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread
Hello! We generally don't recommend soundbars because even entry-level budget stereo speakers can easily beat most soundbars in sound quality. A great inexpensive option to try out proper stereo audio is a pair of active speakers. They are more cost-efficient than passive speakers + amplifier becaus

Speakers for record player
That's a solid entry-level turntable you got there! If you'd appreciate a system with minimal amounts of setup required and which you can hook up to your TV via HDMI ARC as well, then I recommend these: NEUMI BS5P-ARC - powered bookshelf speakers Dayton Audio CS800 - powered subwoofer Monoprice Coax

Help an audio simpleton bookshelf speaker for
The setup that u/NoBackground6203 suggested is good for the price. Polk Audio Monitor XT20 (EAC review) WiiM Amp (ASR review) With passive speakers you can upgrade components separately. (E.g. speakers like ELAC Debut 3.0 DB63-BK (EAC review).) Though, note that the slightly more expensive WiiM Amp

Fluance RT80 Stylus
Small 4" Edifier R1280T are the bare minimum basic entry level speakers so if you are looking for better sound then upgrade to better and often larger speakers first or at the same time as the stylus upgrade. I've got a Hitachi Ht-41S. How bad do I need to upgrade?
The Yamaha NS-6390 speakers are basic entry level. I think they may have sold around $150 down to $75 when on sale a bunch of years ago. The decent Hitachi HT-41S turntable with a good elliptical tip stylus is more than good enough for the basic speakers. Generally if you are looking to spend $300 o

What is the room length and width? Polk XT15 and Kanto may be the same ball park. Hard to say without hearing both and it can be personal preference. If you do have a large room then get larger 6.5" speakers. Polk XT20 https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/polkmxt20-blk-rb/polk-audio-mo
