Polar’s new wearable is screen-free, subscription-free and a direct competitor to Whoop
The upcoming polar loop is a screen-free fitness tracker with interchangeable bands starting at 179.90€ from the well-known fitness watch brand Polar 🇫🇮. It competes with Whoop and Amazfit’s existing screen-less tracker the former famously requires an expensive subscription to use (and no more free u

Is the polar band still bad? (Help)
Depends what you're searching for. Polar Loop is better in HR accuracy than Whoop 4.0 and Helio Strap when worn on the bicep. It's a dumpster fire like the others when worn on a small wrist like mine. Sleep tracking is good. Activity tracking works and has a daily goal with three options to choose f

Doubt whether to buy
That’s exactly how I use my Polar Loop. I wear my V3 for training sessions, and when I get home I synch it, turn it off (saves battery life), and put on my Loop for the rest of the day. Since the latest firmware updates I have found the Loop’s heart rate tracking and sleep tracking to be flawless. A

Loop megathread
In the week that I have had a Polar Loop 2 I have found the OHR to be virtually identical to that from a Garmin Edge 500 during bicycle rides. I think the image shows that fairly well. The only differences come when I stop - the Loop keeps recording, the Garmin pauses.

How do I cancel a Polar Loop order in India?
I wear it all the time, and now only use my watch for things like the time, swim laps, some gym stuff, maps. I sometimes going hiking in the mountains or long bike rides where I like having a watch. Before I was wearing two watches which felt silly, doable but silly. This way I get one watch and one

From Garmin to Polar cycling options
Had some major issues with it at launch, I have some posts in the mega thread to prove it lol, persisted through many frustrations because I genuinely like Polar and want them to succeed so I do what I rarely do with any brand which is give them multiple attempts, etc. They're the OGs and I like 'em

Vantage M3 vs Loop
I use it the same way you describe, mechanical watch on one hand and loop on another. I started with automatic workout detection but it's not very accurate so I moved to manual (if you have a polar watch it's less of an issue). I found the HR to be very accurate on the wrist (compare to H9). I don't

I built a personal wearable MCP to avoid Polar App and get weekly health rundowns in Claude
Fair enough, I have been using whoop and withings and once a week exporting my data to CSV and running through it with Google Gemini. This definitely looks like it will streamline the process. Im not renewing my whoop and I have a polar loop too so this looks like it's popped up at the right time. T

How accurate is Polar’s Fitness Test VO2max? Got a 67 and want to double-check.
I first used this Polar Flow feature a couple of years ago using Verity Sense and it was way higher than what I was getting from other devices and also from what I found credible. But I used this feature again recently after purchasing Loop and it gave me the exact same score as a Garmin and Huawei

From Garmin to Polar cycling options
I only run outdoors and have tested many times both ways (start and use Loop only, leave phone behind vs. start and take phone with) while also wearing other comparison devices like AWU2, most recently Garmin Instinct3 Solar, Polar H10, Whoop (wrist and bicep), Helio (wrist and bicep) and even anoth
