Polar’s new wearable is screen-free, subscription-free and a direct competitor to Whoop
The upcoming polar loop is a screen-free fitness tracker with interchangeable bands starting at 179.90€ from the well-known fitness watch brand Polar 🇫🇮. It competes with Whoop and Amazfit’s existing screen-less tracker the former famously requires an expensive subscription to use (and no more free u

Surprised by the app ugly UI
I’ve been a Polar user for 12 years and I have no intention of switching to something else. The hardware’s good and I enjoy the fact that the product has so little bloat outside actual sports tracking. But my god, I don’t understand what the folks at the company are doing all day long. They release

Latest update for some who ordered Polar Loop
Dear community (I work for Polar), Usually, we’re happy to watch from the sidelines and not get involved in Reddit conversations. However, we felt it was important to jump in here to address some concerns. Regarding the emails sent out earlier today: If you have already received a tracking number, y

Polar loops tracking system is beyond good and evil
You should read how polar measures activities. It is not wrong, but different to other systems. https://support.polar.com/en/support/the_what_and_how_of_polar_24_7_activity_tracking Here is the loop manual, also worth to read: https://support.polar.com/e_manuals/polar-loop/polar-loop-user-manual-english/manua

Google just launched the Fitbit Air. $99 and no subscription needed. It is so over for WHOOP. ( I feel sorry for you if you brought some.)
If you want something similar but with privacy (not harvesting your data) you can buy Polar's Loop for 199$

Now Whoop sues Polar over fitness tracker design
As a Whoop user (soon to leave them) I hope they lose. Polar looks much better. And any person with a single brain cell can see the difference between Loop and Whoop from 10 feet. If Whoop reaaaally wants to go this way, then Helio Strap is more similar to Whoop in terms of looks, imo.

What happened to Polar?
As much as I think that Polar software is sometimes buggy, I went back to them after using Apple Watch and Garmin. I do not need a smartwatch, only decent training devices. Also, oddly enough my experience with the new Loop is very positive, I had read many negative reviews and instead it’s working

Should I buy a V3 or wait for the next model?
So you swap from what model ? I just swap a month ago form Polar Pacer Pro to V3 and I got the same questions as you… but I think it next model will be next year, my guess is the are targeting different segments right now with loop and street X. My takes on the swap. I’m happy overall but it’s not d

Bad experience - product Feedback -Loop
Hi there. I get the impression that it bought the Loop wishing it would be everything without doing any research before. A M3 or I3 might have been more suitable for you. Polar doesn’t do fluffing.Shoe tracking, reps detection and cool stuff. The apps do lack but it does what it needs and the algori
