I am new to Polar, very disappointed. What am I missing?

No idea if I'm representative but this is my story... in 2020 COVID lockdowns led to me taking up cycling I live in a hilly place, there is lots of data to track I wanted a watch that was not massive, reasonably priced, and would track rides without needing a bike computer it came down to Polar and

Polar Flow app version 7.35.1 for Android

Polar should definitely consider whether their method of transferring data to Polar Flow should be completely changed. The problem occurs from time to time and it seems that only FlowSync can fix it, but Polar intends to discontinue FlowSync. What then? Every now and then I have to resort to FlowSyn

Question for Polar Loop

As the Polar Loop uses the Flow app, it is way behind Whoop in presentation, analysis, etc. That’s why all these people use Whoop as the standard. Sadly the Loop is barely in the game. Hopefully Polar itself remains in the game but already it’s well behind in its goals of updating Flow. Additionally

New Polar smartwatch leaks via FCC as Polar Street X

Exactly! We got our watches for tracking fitness only. We don't use the "smart" features that let you control music, make phone calls, etc.. A basic fitness watch would work for many people. We used the Unite for a few years and liked it. As they started to slow down and not charge so great I looked

Switching to Polar — app worries me

All kind of rumors last year new look was coming out for Android before end of 2025 with an update for iOS following in 2026. Polar never really said anything that I saw. Polar flow app for both Android and iOS remains outdated. My Ignite 3 remains desk bound as a result. Rocking Garmin again.

The Heartfelt "End of an Era" and Call to Action

Gosh, I thought I was the only one with a Polar addiction problem 🤭 I also feel loyal to the brand, but hear you. I got an Ignite 3 recently (to help me through a marathon without worrying about battery issues (unlike my Apple Watch), but slightly does not deliver what I thought it would, and feel a

Polar, still Polar in 2026

Glad you’re pleased with Flow. For me it is despicable! Why my Polar Ignite 3 remains in a drawer. A waste! Would never recommend nor buy Polar again unless the app is brought in from the Dark Ages.

Nightly metrics reliability

I am currently using a Polar Pacer Pro. I had the same issue with an Ignite 3 previously. The Garmin I used as comparison was a Venu SQ Music. I would love for sleep tracking to work reliably on Polar, because overall I prefer their app and watches (yes, unlike many others, I find Polar Flow to be f

New watch?

You seem ok with the app. If so then Polar is a good choice. I’ve got the Ignite 3 and it’s a truly nice device. But it lives in my drawer at home as I absolutely can’t deal with the Polar Flow app. For me it’s outdated and considering how Polar moves in features and updates, I’d likely never see an

Was I right to choose Polar and not Coros?

Glad you are pleased with how the Polar website works. My take is their Flow app is so dated it is virtually a case of neglect. As for the Flow website, it’s dated to have to go outside an app to try to check data. That’s why my Polar Ignite 3 stays in the drawer. I wish Polar recognized they’re in
