I want to buy a 7" color eReader
I got the PocketBook Inkpad Color 3 a few weeks ago and its been the most amazing thing ever! Color looks great from what I've used although darker colors like purples and blues are obviously very muted. The battery holds really steady which I love. Additionally, I found that as long as you have a U

It's been an expensive 6 months since leaving Kindle
Growing up in school I hated reading. None of the required reading books ever did anything for me, so I rarely actually read them. But that all changed in 2011 when I got a Kindle Keyboard and found out I could read books that I actually liked. It's been wondering and I've been singing the praises o

My kid asked for color ereader (Boox, Kobo, Pocketbook) ?
As a reader of comics and an ereader collector, a 7” reader is really too small. If you really want to get him a color e-ink device I recommend the Pocketbook InkPad Color 3. It’s 8” and a dedicated ereader so you don’t have to worry about Android apps and distractions. I still think e-ink isn’t qui

Color e-reader recs for manga/comics?
I feel that for manga and comics, the larger the e-reader, the better the experience. Wanting a color reader makes that harder and more expensive. My pick here would be the Pocketbook InkPad Color 3. I have been using their InkPad models for years now and have been happy with them overall.

Which PocketBook model is best for children?
For reading for my daughter (she can't read by herself yet) I use InkPad Color 3, it's good because it's something like 8 inches and color. So you can read children books in different fixed formats with images, like pdfs, and everything will be readable. For children who already read by themselves,

Is it worth upgrading from clara bw to libra colour for comics?
There's a point in the setup process where you can connect the device to a PC, add a line to an internal file, reboot it and get straight thrown into the so called sideload mode (but in this mode you won't have a homepage anymore, just your library - everything not store related will still work, but

is PocketBook UI better than the one Kobo has?
if you get a Kobo, expect to convert all of your books that you want on it to kepub format, otherwise you'll be missing on a bunch of basic Kobo features. Library wise, PocketBook has much better customisation and browsing options than Kobo does. And I personally love the customisation that PocketBo

Choosing my first pb
This gets a bit complicated, especially If you never had used a colour and a black & white ereader. And especially because returning a device will just cause hassles I guess. You should first decide if you want a colour ereader or a black and white one. This is not just about colour yes/no. The only

Need help for my first ereader
The Inkpad will only be slower if you’re navigating menus, which I rarely do. I just read. And in-book, using the page turn buttons, I don’t really notice any lag. The positive is that it’s 7.8” as opposed to the others at 7”. Kindle doesn’t treat books sent or sideloaded the same as it does books f

Pocketbook InkPad Color 3 or something else?
Maybe... the InkPad Color 3? Or the InkPad Color... 3 😅 Unluckily outside of Android ereaders (which have worse battery performance, but are more versatile) there isn't anything else I know of. You can go down to 7" (Kobo Libra 2 - but for comics applies the bigger, the better) or sacrifice battery
