Dental printer suggestions
I’ve helped a couple of people doing dental work on consumer printers (Elegoo, Anycubic, Phrozen). It’s doable, dental stuff is only hard because of the niche resins and most consumer printing advice settings aren’t really up to dealing with that. My understanding is the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S is p

Upgrading from a Mars 2 Pro
First question is, are you using anti-aliasing? To answer your question, yes smaller pixels help, as do thinner layer heights, but it’s up to a point. You will never get a 3d printed model to appear to have no lines. At least not without 3d/vertical AA, which no commercial slicer can do. As someone

Looking for some "down the line" reviews for the Anycubic M7 (normal)
Bad after purchase support, bad quality control. I’d just avoid. Of the 4 major resin printer manufacturers, Elegoo is the least bad imho. Mars ultra 5 vs Saturn 4 16k
With anti-aliasing, the older 4K/8K printers still keep up with newer printers. I run 2 Saturn 2s (one of which is half of a Saturn 3 lol) and my output is honestly fantastic. I had a printer with smaller pixels (Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S - 22um vs 28.5um) and you couldn't tell a difference on minis u

Saturn 4 / 4 Ultra LCD screen reliability – any issues?
I had a Sonic Mini 8K S. I was glad I got rid of it. It had major Z axis compression issues and you can’t set more than a -0.5mm Z offset on the printer. Phrozen tech support was absolutely useless and actively combative. I and another user who had the same issue ended up figuring a work around to s

Can Anyone Recommend Phrozen or GK3 Over Saturn 4 Ultra?
Phrozen is same quality hardware as Elegoo, with worse firmware and worse performance for twice the money. I had a Sonic Mini 8K S with Z axis compression issues that couldn’t be fixed with Z offset (because the firmware caps how much offset you can apply, unlike nearly every other printer out there
