Beginner looking to build experience in hiking & scrambling
Pedialyte is the brand I use, you can get it in most grocery stores and Shoppers. I would stay away from other sports drink powders like Gatorade or Mio, since they are far heavier on sugar than Pedialyte. The map books are great (I love mine, especially for planning), but they are also pretty heavy

The tingling is most likely low potassium. I'm on a similar med, and need to supplement potassium. It can get better as you adjust to the med, but electrolytes can help. Don't blindly supplement, get your blood levels checked, potassium has a very narrow range of OK, and outside that range is heart/
