Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?

I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Sigma just announced the new full-frame L-mount Sigma BF

the big problem is that its worse in every way to an a7c, or a7cii you cant make up excuses for not having critical features when your competitors can include the same features with cameras of the same size and price. the design, lack of buttons, no sd card and even no ibis would be fine disregardin

I upgraded from s9 to s5ii, here are my initial thoughts

All points stand that’s why I went with Fuji xe5 with 23mm lens. Planning to get x100vi for extra stop of light, nd filters and flash. Size wise lighter than s9, that I had before. Picture quality is better - 40mpix does something magical where they look three dimensional straight out of film recipe

S9 Owners - Is it Good For Youtube Content Creation? Or is there Anything else that you like better?

If you call sony af terrible then it sounds more like a skill issue. Sony AF is still better than lumix, but they all have their own quirks. Also for Sony I'm pretty sure the ibis sucks but if you turn on dynamic or dynamic active which is their e stab mode it looks decent. S9 or any camera from any

Camera decision: G100D vs GF10

Lenses aside, the G100D is getting into the size range of the Lumix S9/Leica Q3/Sony a7cii cameras. You can't just yadda-yadda the lenses. The lenses are the whole thing. Yes, it is possible to make a small full frame body: S9, fp, A7C, etc. And you can even find a normal prime walk around lens that

Firmware Update 1.6 for Lumix S9

Panasonic markets the S9 as a creator camera. So the lack of support for the DJI gimbals (Activetrack) and for Flow does not make any sense to me.

Really disappointed in the S9 build quality

Common compliant. I'm hoping for an upgraded video 's7/s8' at some point bc the Canon 'v' series of cameras are really starting to look like video competitors to lumix. as is the ZR, though i'm sticking with the s9 at this point. the plasticky builds are getting annoying. om-3 supposedly did well.

FX3/FX6 to Panasonic S9 for doc work.

I mainly shoot on Panasonic with an s5ii and s9 as b-cam. I think that the s9 does have better ibis, but it’s not world changing. You’ll still need a steady hand. The less weight a camera is the easier it is to shake. Maybe I’m wrong on a technical level, but with log footage at 4k 24fps the image w

Is it dumb to replace my S5II for a lighter travel camera?

I’m exactly in the same situation. I have an S5 IIX with 20-60 and 50/1.8. I love the camera and the lenses are pretty good too. However, I rarely take the camera with me on an everyday basis because it’s big and it really got uncomfortable to carry it around on my recent trip to Mexico City, where

I just sold all my Sony equipment for LUMIX. Best decision I have made.

I have S9 and A7CR. I am really not seeing any point of this. You are just arguing now you can apply LUTs and is "WAY Better" because you don't need to do as much post work. granted! that's a plus... but that you are also assuming no one else knows how to use LUTs on a sony footage. which is like..
