There’s a big gap between an s5m2x and an Amira… i would recommend using some other cameras first, suchs as FX6 or FX9 to get used to the size of a bigger camera, and the workflow of a bigger camera. At least rent the Amira once before buying it, to really check if it is the right camera for you. An

S5 II + DMW-SFU2 vs S5 IIX – Same hardware, more expensive, fewer features?
From what I see, the upgrade is only £10 on Panasonic's UK website. I wouldn't expect the S5ii to be given full S5iiX features for £10.
