Sigma 60-600 or Panasonic 100-500 for handheld wildlife
I got the 100-500 recently, so I can weigh in on its use and why I bought it over others. Before my Lumix (s1IIe) I had a setup with 600mm max focal range. I went back through a bunch of my birding photos to see what range I was using most, and to my surprise they were often 350~450mm. So in my case

Panasonic S1IIE for 2000€ good deal for video and photo work?
I have yet to buy this camera, but from what I can tell, everyone is sleeping on it pretty hard. Here are the recording modes for Lumix S1ii and Lumix S1iie. I'm truly disappointed there is no option in the S1iie for FULL FRAME 16:9 60/50p recording mode. It seems to me the S1iie is a double priced S5II. The S1ii is rock solid!
Still not much of an upgrade IMO. For me the biggest upgrade is the body itself more than what you just mentioned. I won't notice the better IBIS. I've seen videos testing and saying "so the S1IIE has better IBIS". Meanwhile I'm sitting here unable to tell the difference. And to be quite honest, the
