[OC] F-16 Viper Demo Team - Thunder Over Louisville Practice 2026
It's due to the limitations of most current CMOS sensor unless you get one with a global shutter. This is from a Panasonic S1ii with a rolling shutter so it reads the sensor line by line. I stabilized the video in post with Davinci Resolve (the editing program). This stabilized the overall plane, bu

Review of S1ii in a cinema environment
For a large scale professional shoot I feel that a dedicated cinema camera is definitely needed as compared to a s1ii, even the fx3 would struggle with alot of these. Hope panasonic is considering a BSIIH someday.

I hope this would be true..
The cheap camera will be something useless that no one cares about. I have a theory that the more expensive camera could be the small modern MFT camera everyone wants. A few YouTubers I follow have been mysteriously pimping out MFT all of a sudden. Being given GH7 by Panasonic to “test” out of nowhe

Over-processed image of the S5iix / S1ii ?
By all accounts you can get a more organic image by shooting Pro-Res and Raw formats, but these come with huge file sizes. H264 and H265 file sizes are so much more reasonable for so many workflows - and I have also noticed the difference going from an S1 / S1H to an S5II. Up-voting this because its

DMW-DMS1 mic doesn't record 4 channel audio on s5iix
https://na.panasonic.com/news/panasonic-introduces-new-digital-shotgun-microphone-dmw-dms1 It does have the little *2 footnote for the backup function only being on the s1ii, s1iies, and s1rii. But I agree it’s a bit hard to tell what features you’re actually getting if you don’t have the 3 newest c

My long-term LUMIX S1 ii review
Not sure if my opinion is of any value to you, but I'm a former S5II owner. I took advantage of Panasonic LUMIX's trade-in trade-up promotion, which provided me a $400 discount on the purchase of the new S series camera and I received ~$850 in value for my S5II (varies depending on condition, mine w

Problems with the S1II
The AF part- 100% my experience (with s5ii at least, the s1ii should be only tad better). The “wide zone +tap to track which actually works and doesnt loose subject” mode on sony is ideal for run&gun/ events and panasonic just makes you concentrate on checking if the focus didnt drifted off instead

Review of S1ii in a cinema environment
Overall, I completely agree with everything you mentioned. I’d gladly put my name to it—with a few exceptions. I’d like to start with these points first. As for overheating, I’m not a big fan of the thermal design either, but regardless of the setup, I haven’t experienced the level of overheating yo

Testing the clip-in Kolari OLPF on my LUMIX cameras (LUMIX S1 ii / S5)
Panasonic needs to give S1ii a firmware update with - 1 sharpness settings. Im happy Ed is drawing attention to this.

Can we talk about how Panasonic still hasn’t shipped preordered s9 titanium blacks but has restocked and is selling them again in the shop.
That is wild. I preordered the day they went live on April 21st and my shipment was expected more than two weeks ago. No updates, CS has zero information, and no one is taking accountability or communicating updates from distribution to sales to customer support. To me this entire preorder was preda
