Panasonic LUMIX Interview – S1H Successor, Cinema Cameras, MFT Commitment, and More [CineD]
Lumix shooter here, eagerly awaiting an S1HII. I think it is absolutely RIDICULOUS that Panasonic will not confirm any meaningful information about their cameras - even vaguely - or explicitly confirm the development of an S1H successor. Cameras are only announced when they are imminently being rele

Andrew Reid predicts Panasonic is soft-quitting the market for professional photographers and videographers
I think Andrew went from healthy scepticism to bitter dommerism some time ago. He seems to think of himself as some sort of a scorned LUMIX fan. As for the substance of his blog piece - LPS has been phased out for years in Europe so no, it's not an unusual move. can you imagine Nikon ending NPS or C

Need a reliable video camera under ~$2k — coming from Canon R8 (overheating killed my trust)

It's actually why I'm having to get two cameras, to cover all the situations I'm thinking about. But no one camera will perfectly have everything, frustratingly

Struggling to Choose Between the FX3 and the C50 — Need Some Advice
I'm sure it's improved on those bodies but I had another issue with Lumix that made me lose faith in them -at the time I had the S1H (from release in 2019 until late 2021) the camera firmware was plagued with corrupt .mdt files that Panasonic kept blaming users for, for using non-Panasonic branded V

Will Lumix Panasonic Bring the Next Big Leap? It is time for a S1H II.
Kolari Vision has two options now. They have an OLPF conversion service. They also just announced a magnetic clip in OLPF that will be available soon (they already sell other clip iin filters for Panasonic). If you search "Hopkins Films" youtube channel for "olpf" there are several videos on the Kol
