Panasonic I beg you we need an updated GM1
You understand that as soon you add IBIS it will no longer be a “GM1 markll”… not even a “GM5 markII”. It needs to be thicker. In the dream land (Panasonic as any other company is ruled by their finances and bets that have profit) I would prefer them to make the possibly smallest IBIS+PDAF camera wi

Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?
I use my camera almost exclusively for family life. 10 bit video, reliable human tracking and good stabilization are the main things to look for in a hybrid dad cam. I wouldn’t recommend an OM-5 or GX9 for your use, because they both lack 2 out of the 3 things I mentioned above. I’ve owned an E-M10

Switching from FF to mFT
Lumix doesn't have better photo IQ, they may have been talking about its Video quality which panasonic cameras are renowned for. If you're trying to keep things small I'd recommend going with the OM-1 or OM-5 vs the G9II. The G9 is considered large by MFT standards and is even bigger than your Z7. H

Camera recommendations? Beginner
The OM 100-400 II is actually only barely lighter than the Tamron 50-400 and Sigma 100-400 (both very similar in specs to the OM). Of course, the 20MP MFT sensor of the OM-1 still squeezes more reach out of 400mm than the 26MP APS-C sensor of the A6700 (Fuji's 40MP sensor actually beats the OM-1 on

Lumix g9ii memory card. UHS-I or UNS-II card or does it matter in most applicattions?
In my experience, the benefit of V90 cards for bursts in case of G9 II is not so clear. For anyone interested a small test here: https://www.pscht.cz/blog/panasonic-lumix-dc-g9-ii-g9m2-exploring-the-burst-modes

L10 is the Ultimate tease.
I think the biggest problem with a GX10 would be how to price it.How much are people going to be prepared to pay for the perfect micro 4/3 rangefinder body? The GX8 was considered by many to be overpriced and at the current equivalent of it's retain price of $1199 in 2016 is $1600 now. Can they brin

L10 size vs Pen F
GX7 was a great size except it needed a better thumb placement tab and GX85/9 were the successor. Not sure why Panasonic doesn’t put out a GX10, since they have the body already. It seems corporate has decided that the photography unit has to use one body for M4/3 and FF. The G9II body isn’t as nice

Replacing Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mk 2 with Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk 1 for bird photography.
For birds, handheld, both IS and AF are useful. If you plan to keep the Lumix 100-300 mm and want the best IS, you should go with a G85 or GX85. You'll get Dual IS. Lumix OIS will not work with Olympus IBIS. You get either/or. No PDAF for you, but DFD AF is good. To get PDAF and Dual IS you need a G

Is this the right time to buy a m43 system?
I love m43 system, but no, it would be foolish to do so these days (with a few exceptions) You can find cheaper and better camera and lenses, new or used. Take a Sony A6100, it smokes everything m43 by a mile except the OM-1 and G9 II in some areas and it's dirt cheap. Autofocus, video, fps, senzor,

Two lens I wishes for m43 from Sigma
I’ve used a bit. Here’s a list of lenses and bodies and you can let me know what you think. There was a lot of overlap and I had all of them at the same time.
