Is called being hyper aware and over functioning. Possibly due to generalized anxiety. I’ve been working to lower how much I do this with my therapist cus this kind of brain activity floods the body with adrenaline and cortisol which can cause long term health issues - often in the form of autoimmun

Hey, been there! Ive worked a desk job 9-6 M-F for the last 12 years, here are my tips: I keep two lunchboxes in my office fridge every week. One filled with snacks (yogurts, protein bars, carrots, fruit, hummus, dips, etc) and another with healthy beverages (seltzers, unsweetened teas, diet sodas,

Yes, I totally agree. I was gifted an OURA ring and I had no idea how much stress I was under. These mechanisms can really help you get to know what your body needs, etc.

Oddly Oura rings are rather MRI friendly, a good 1/3 of my department wears them since most other fitness trackers don't do so well in a magnetic field.

Yes, do this. And do a few things while you wait for the referral. Please get your vitamin D and ferritin levels checked. Ferritin levels that primary care will probably tell you’re not anemic or not actually what you need to make any neurotransmitters. If your ferritin is below 75 or 50, you could

Watch is just to tell time, I do not need notifications. Smart watch is also very bulky for me, I wear oura ring instead to track activities and sleep.

It was so hard and I couldn’t like “do it” and know when was too much. I’m a data person. So…. I got the Oura ring. It is like the thoughtful mother I never ha

hey hails… you do know.. your oura ring does that already by itself!!! you don’t have to pay for the natural cycle app!!! because my ring has accurately predicted my period the last three months as well! Sorry I’m not paying for another half when my brain can do the same thing!

I’m really liking my Oura ring! I’ve not had it very long, so it’s still adjusting to my body, but it’s been fascinating. I struggle with oral temping, and I work night shift, so a wearable device has been a game changer. It’s a bit pricey, but I like the BBT tracking feature and cycle insights. I i

I have an oura ring and its made me more conscious of when I go to bed/get in bed. Last night I got 9 hours. I didnt realize how crappy I treated sleep before that. Was prob averaging 6-7hrs nightly. It also totally shames me when I have wine / drinks and how it impacts sleep… which also helps.
