Is called being hyper aware and over functioning. Possibly due to generalized anxiety. I’ve been working to lower how much I do this with my therapist cus this kind of brain activity floods the body with adrenaline and cortisol which can cause long term health issues - often in the form of autoimmun

Hey, been there! Ive worked a desk job 9-6 M-F for the last 12 years, here are my tips: I keep two lunchboxes in my office fridge every week. One filled with snacks (yogurts, protein bars, carrots, fruit, hummus, dips, etc) and another with healthy beverages (seltzers, unsweetened teas, diet sodas,

Yes, I totally agree. I was gifted an OURA ring and I had no idea how much stress I was under. These mechanisms can really help you get to know what your body needs, etc.

Honestly? I bought an Oura ring for this reason. My therapist has been pushing me to rest and take time and not push myself into exhaustion. It was so hard and I couldn’t like “do it” and know when was too much. I’m a data person. So…. I got the Oura ring. It is like the thoughtful mother I never ha

I have an oura ring and its made me more conscious of when I go to bed/get in bed. Last night I got 9 hours. I didnt realize how crappy I treated sleep before that. Was prob averaging 6-7hrs nightly. It also totally shames me when I have wine / drinks and how it impacts sleep… which also helps.

I wear it all the time except to bed and the shower. I actually am trying an oura ring right now to track sleep but used to also wear it to bed. I really hope that Apple eventually improves their sleep game. I sometimes use a sleep app that was somewhat helpful and probably will go back to that afte

The data conundrum 😩 I’m in the same boat. I ultimately defer to my oura ring for baseline health metrics and heart health indicators. Garmins training data is far superior to AWU, but the AWU is a better smart watch. Why can’t we have it all?!?

Agreed with this person here! If you’re going to supplement iron make sure to not take it with calcium/dairy, caffeine, or high fiber foods as that can block absorption. I take these iron chews I get from Amazon that also have vit C. Also take the iron every other day for best results. Good luck! Al

Do you see yourself using the Oura ring beyond TTC? I had the previous gen and now the newer one, and it’s great. However, I didn’t pay for it myself (used my company’s HSA) and I think if I had to pay out of pocket, I probably wouldn’t have since my Garmin watch already tracks basically everything

I used an Apple Watch for the longest time, but I really like the Oura ring I got a few months ago. As we know, our minute-to-minute daytime metrics with POTS can be crazy/unhelpful information. Oura primarily focuses on your overnight recovery, so all the noise is removed but your recovery will sti
