Osprey Daylite 26+6 Front Loops
Officially, they are part of Osprey's attachment system where you can attach other backpacks (like the Daylite or the Daylite Plus) using their buckles. I've done this on occasion and it works great, though the back does extend out a bit so you have to be careful in crowded places.

A bag inside a bag
I use the Osprey Daylite Plus as a daypack for the Osprey Farpoint 40. Super thin and only 600g when empty but carries very well. External pouch and straps let's you mount additional stuff like swimming gear.

Best features of your backpack
I really appreciate a front dump pocket like on the Osprey Daylite Plus, Osprey Nebula 32L, or the Aer Go Pack 2. It's a must for me now even though many packs don't have one. I think those pockets are my number 1 favorite feature of a backpack. Also, I need 2 good-sized water bottle pockets. And a

Suggestions for 30L day bag pack in Canada?
For Kili, the Osprey Daylite Plus and Deuter Speed Lite 30L are great for comfort and hydration. The Arc'teryx Brize 32L is durable, while The North Face Recon offers stability. The Patagonia Arbor Grande 32L is simple, and the Gregory Citro 30L has adjustable torso length. Ensure the bag is waterpr

Commuter backpack
Perhaps the Osprey Daylite Plus? You can stow rain pants on the outside. However, it will be a tight fit for a 15" laptop…

Survival/Essential bag
I suggest browsing bags and making a list of features and details that are important to you. I am a bit of a bag and backpack nerd and have various shapes and sizes of bag/pack for various uses and conditions. Each one fulfills a very specific purpose. But I’ve also spent as long as six months searc

From what you listed I would also check the osprey daylite plus, provides a little more pockets. Also Matador refraction is great but doesn’t have structure

Great Backpack recommendations for Disney?
Someone else commented the Osprey Daylite, I’d recommend going with the Daylite Plus, which is just slightly bigger but has a stash area that I find works perfectly for a poncho and a meat stick or beef jerky pack. Either way, Osprey is my absolute go-to for a Disney pack.

what is an item under 50 dollars that changed your life?
I bought an osprey porter 40L travel pack and a daylite plus backpack. They meet the maximum size for carry on and personal item without going over. You can jam the porter full and cinch it down tight to maximize what you can bring. Best part is you can attach the daylite to the porter and only carr

Alternatives to Fjallraven Skule 20?
Osprey Daylite Plus is super versatile. Might not fit the styling of the Fjallraven packs. But it's light and has decent pocketing. It it not expensive either.
