if you want the most budget one just get the quechua one. quechua isnt a top brand but for its price its considered pretty good quality compared to others in the similar price range if you want something that lasts forever get an osprey daylite plus 20L

What is a good buy it for life backpack/book bag for university (8 - 10 years)
Osprey says not to put them in the wash but I washed mine with my rain jacket in tech wash and it came out great. I put it in a mesh bag to avoid any straps getting caught. I did NOT put it in the dryer though. It was VERY stinky from lots of hiking in central/southern Appalachia, it was that or thr

Osprey vs Aer
AER is a lifestyle backpack. Urban, trendy etc. some nice looking materials and aesthetically pleasing organisation. Osprey is a utilitarian bag you buy for a purpose, that’s not the prettiest or feel the nicest but it will be a comfortable backpack for a decade if you want. If you honestly don’t ca

Survival/Essential bag
I suggest browsing bags and making a list of features and details that are important to you. I am a bit of a bag and backpack nerd and have various shapes and sizes of bag/pack for various uses and conditions. Each one fulfills a very specific purpose.

Best backpack for daily use and travel ?
Osprey Daylite Plus. Great great feature set for the price, weight, size. Tons of color ways to choose from. I have carried mine all over the last 8 years+ and it essentially still looks new.

Teacher Backpack
MEC branded products have gone downhill since they went from co-op to company, unfortunately. I have an osprey daylite plus as my work bag and it is my favourite so far - and I have tried multiple! I LOVE osprey bags.

Any experience with Osprey Nebula 32L? I use mine to carry things to work, but it feels small, but also heavy? Idk if there’s a better option?
Downsize to the osprey daylite plus. I carry about the same amount of stuff (minus steam deck) and it works. Osprey overall makes great stuff.

Back again for more help.
From what you listed I would also check the osprey daylite plus, provides a little more pockets. Also Matador refraction is great but doesn’t have structure

The Osprey Axis???
Looks like it's between the Proxima and Daylite Plus. My love of Osprey goes back 30 years. I love them and still have hiking backpacks from the 90s
