Yeah. The Osprey Comet is a much chonkier bag that maintains similar styling. The Daylight Plus is fine though if they have like one or two books and a tablet. But even at that, I would recommend the Comet. It inspires much more confidence, as it protects a laptop much better.

Looking for a daypack – 3 compartments, 20–25L, black
I have the Osprey Comet and chose it over the Nebula because it doesn't have the clamshell tech compartment which I find useless, and also because it's about 1/4 inch shorter which fits my body better and fits under airline seats better than the Nebula. Osprey daylite expdbl travel pack 26+6 in Flair Airlines sizer
Anyone else with an Osprey Comet that asap has another Osprey? It files like the Comet loses a crazy amount of space due to how poorly they designed the laptop compartment.

Help me choose: EDC + Travel (Cabin Bag)
Also worth considering that Osprey Comet which is 30L and has a separate laptop compartment. Identical to the Nebula but slightly shorter and does not have the full clamshell opening for the laptop (which isn’t terribly useful IMHO).
