Patagonia Mini MLC VS Quechua NH Escape 500 32L
I have an Osprey comet 32l, and while the build quality is exceptional, it can also drive me up a wall with some of its design choices. It feels like I can’t even get 28l of actual capacity out of it.

any backpacks similar to this kind of style?
Yeah. The Osprey Comet is a much chonkier bag that maintains similar styling. The Daylight Plus is fine though if they have like one or two books and a tablet. But even at that, I would recommend the Comet. It inspires much more confidence, as it protects a laptop much better.

What’s the top feature that is missing from making your favourite travel bag almost perfect?

Has the Osprey Comet been discontinued
I think the Comet is the one of the best. Still listed as far as I can tell. https://www.osprey.com/comet-30-comet30f22-456?srsltid=AfmBOoqemd7IkJNMhmU_cJVoI_uslIoGIvsFRqanOqzTfiCmyj6IGkF5&size=O%2FS&color=Black

Looking for a daypack – 3 compartments, 20–25L, black
I have the Osprey Comet and chose it over the Nebula because it doesn't have the clamshell tech compartment which I find useless, and also because it's about 1/4 inch shorter which fits my body better and fits under airline seats better than the Nebula. The main compartment and admin compartment are

Backpack recommendations for office and field work?
I built a career in R&D as a Mechanical Engineer, before I got tired of solving math problems and started solving people problems. Moved to a Project Engineer position, then to VP of Engineering and now President of the company. That Carhartt bag lived with me from late 2017, until just a few months

Anything better or similar to the Cotopaxi travel pack?
I used an ebags motherlode 42 for a few years with reinforced carabiners. I really like outdoor products Urban hiker bag layout. Very similar to to cotopaxi. I just feel it's better and in an 33liter. I personally rock an osprey farpoint 40. It fits my fram comfortable, I'm okay looking dorky. My ba

Lightweight backpack for work EDC?
I just got an osprey comet. Feels significantly lighter than the Carhartt I was using. Had some decent padding on straps and backplate.

what backpack should i get
Check out the bags on the REI outlet. Can get an Osprey Comet, Quasar, or Nebula for a pretty good price (~$90-$110) right now. https://www.rei.com/b/osprey/c/travel-daypacks?ir=category%3Atravel-daypacks&r=c%3Bb

Help me pick a EDC/personal item backpack
The Nebula, Recon, and Borealis are all listed at 19.3" height or above, so if you're flying on a stricter/discount airline, they may not qualify as a personal item if fully packed out. I've used an Osprey Comet, which is a similar to the Nebula but slightly smaller and shorter (30L). I didn't have
