I have an Osprey comet 32l, and while the build quality is exceptional, it can also drive me up a wall with some of its design choices. It feels like I can’t even get 28l of actual capacity out of it.

I don't see this bag mentioned often but I bought an Osprey Comet for short business trips, and I'm very happy with it. It's very similar to the Osprey Nebula which seems more popular, so you might consider that one too. I prefer the Comet because it a bit smaller (30L vs 32L), weighs a bit less (1.

Are you in the USA? A backpack with a chest strap or sternum strap will help keep the weight more evenly balanced and keep the bag closer to your body, so hopefully less likely to knock things over. The Jansport Hatchet and Jansport Agave have chest straps. The Agave has a hip belt which distributes

Osprey also recently released Osprey "Transporter" 26+6 with a bit better materials. I had Osprey "Daylite" 26+6, but when it was empty or half-empty, it felt like a 10-dollar backpack (not structured). So, I returned that and got Osprey Nebula as an all-purpose backpack for my everyday needs. As I

Pretty sure the Nebula is a clamshell, but if you like the looks of that one check out the Osprey Comet, it's got a more standard backpack opening which I wanted and also very sleek and the front grab handle is really convenient for travel. It's a couple liters smaller than the Nebula and I've used

Yeah. The Osprey Comet is a much chonkier bag that maintains similar styling. The Daylight Plus is fine though if they have like one or two books and a tablet. But even at that, I would recommend the Comet. It inspires much more confidence, as it protects a laptop much better.

I’m a 5’7” woman and I’ve got the Osprey comet and a north face recon. The comet and the nebula and more or less the same size, but with a shove it pocket or a handle in the front. I’d say the comet is a bit tall (the straps don’t come from the top of the back panel but rather an icy or two below) w

I have the Osprey Comet and chose it over the Nebula because it doesn't have the clamshell tech compartment which I find useless, and also because it's about 1/4 inch shorter which fits my body better and fits under airline seats better than the Nebula. The main compartment and admin compartment are
