Comet 30

I have an Osprey comet 32l, and while the build quality is exceptional, it can also drive me up a wall with some of its design choices. It feels like I can’t even get 28l of actual capacity out of it.

Yeah. The Osprey Comet is a much chonkier bag that maintains similar styling. The Daylight Plus is fine though if they have like one or two books and a tablet. But even at that, I would recommend the Comet. It inspires much more confidence, as it protects a laptop much better.

Maybe an Osprey Comet? I recently got one, thinking at 30L it would be just a bit more space than the 24L bag I was using before......but somehow it feels like it fits twice as much as my 24 did. Anyone else with an Osprey Comet that asap has another Osprey? It files like the Comet loses a crazy amount of space due to how poorly they designed the laptop compartment.

Also worth considering that Osprey Comet which is 30L and has a separate laptop compartment. Identical to the Nebula but slightly shorter and does not have the full clamshell opening for the laptop (which isn’t terribly useful IMHO).

I just got an osprey comet. Feels significantly lighter than the Carhartt I was using. Had some decent padding on straps and backplate.
