Yes, the athena is a build-it-yourself kit, so you need all the options to build one. Although KBDFans does sell a pre-built version here. Granted ordering from KBD fans can take a few weeks of shipping too with tarriffs thrown on. For other pre-built options that include a numpad, there is the Chil

I need help picking a keyboard

Check Chilkey ND104. Full size, 1000hz polling (kind of a given nowadays), knob + small screen, imo the gray colorway looks pretty professional but I couldn't find it in stock (black one looks pretty nice too). If sound is a problem buy some haimu heartbeats or whatnot

Recommendation for FULL Size Keyboard

As you probably have seen, the options are way more limited for 100%, so you might want to be flexible on some of the items, especially things like shine-through keycaps that can be upgraded. I say this as somebody who has been searching for a similar 100%. I don’t consider myself an expert, but the

Buying Advice

Had the time to look through your list here, and I like a lot of them! The Chilkey ND104 looked nice but I'm not a big screen guy so that earned some demerit points for me. I think I'll go with a Keychron Q6 Max. The Q6 HE looks like a better deal, but I much prefer the teal colours they have on the

Chilkey ND104. I just bought one and am incredibly impressed with the quality 👍 It has the home row you want, a small screen and a knob. But also has great build quality to go with it 👍👍IMO easily on par with Keychron, perhaps even better. And a lot cheaper too👍

First mechanical keyboard, want silent switches

If you can get your hands on the Chilkey ND104, they have the option to buy it pre-built with silent linear switches. Though idk if they are still in stock. The sound tests I watched were great and it is stunning imo.

Suggestions for a relatively silent metal 100% keyboard?

Nice suggestions. I liked the look of most of them and was almost sold on them, but held out and decided to go with the Chilkey ND104.

Personally I think Keychron is overpriced. If you don’t need it urgent, I suggest considering the DP104 (Ticktype) or ND104 (Chilkey). The ND104 in white is $199 on cannonkeys and the DP104 in white is $199 on divinikey, I’ve personally tried a DP104 in person (at some meetup) and it was really nice
