1: Great question! 2: I've found that the board needs to be plugged into a USB 3.2 Type-A slot for everything to work properly. It might have to do with voltage on the USB port. 3: Agreed on the weather app; it does need to have some sort of allowance for the board to query the config site. 4: I've

I would definitely go get a 16 switch akko tester just to get your preferences down, im lucky to have blindpicked switches i actually like (HMX Xinhais 58g and MMD Princess Tactiles 62g). If noise is a problem look up some typing tests of these on yt, I personally wouldn't go the silent switches rou

Yeah it's not listed on the via page of supported keyboards. The only non keychron board I've found so far is the chilkey nd104. It looks good enough, I just find the screen and removable tray/keys a little gimmicky

No sure if you ever bought anything, but I'd give a massive thumbs up for the Chilkey ND104. You can buy direct from them with full ISO support. I received mine about 3 weeks ago, and it's surprisingly good. Better than Keychron, in my opinion, with some very neat features that make building in it a

I have the ND104 and can confirm that it is superb. Build quality is great, out of the box performance is great, and it has some neat touches to make building in it a joy. It does have a version of via which is used for programming the board via the Chilkey website, but you can also use the via thro

The Chilkey ND104 is a good option if you change the switches. There is also the QK101 and the Ticktype DP104.

How does the Chilkey ND104 compare to Ticktype DP 104 or Keychrone Q6 Max? I just checked out the options you gave me, and ND104 seems sick. What switches do you recommend if you do switch them out?

I've got a Glorious GMMK 3, Q6 Max, Q14 Max and a Chilkey ND104. I'd buy the ND104 over the Q6 every day of the week, it's absolutely superb. I've modded mine with Chosfox HMX Dune Fox switches and MT3 keycaps.... It's nuts. If I want really top of the range, the Glorious board is where I'd go. Of m

I can't tell you yes, or no. I bought a mountain everest a few years ago. A brilliant board which I swapped keycaps and switches on. I then bought. Gloriojs GMMK Pro for travel duties. A bit weighty, but it did the trick. I got it for a steal at the time too. Then last year Mountain sold to BeQuiet!
